I'm back after the 7+rewatches, and I love how you drew Soul growing up. Like he looks like a young adult when the final verse rolls around, Maka too, but it's more obvious in Soul, and you get the feeling of permanence with that small detail. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS

You know, I wonder if the envy chapters in the Book of Eibon (your drawing of maka on the floor got me, k?) were influenced by more than randos telling Maka she wasn't a good partner for Soul. Like, no one had wanted to be his partner before he was a death scythe, Soul didn't give her any reason to think he'd prefer someone. I guess if I was writing the story, I would have made it closer to the fact that her parents split after Spirit became a death scythe. None of the other death scythes seem to have a personal meister either. IDK, I guess I am just a little desperate for character growth that addressed the trama of her parent's divorce on her own relationships.
