"She lived life big,": A woman remembers her friend who died in a fire

Ty Schmidt is remembering her friend Charis Anne Kuehl who died in a house fire at an AirBnB on Sunday.
Charis was 38-years-old and died along with her father Steven (66), her sister Lydia (35), her five-year-old daughter and two more kids ages eight and two-years-old.
"She's magnetic, she's charismatic," Ty said. "She lit up a room. She made everybody feel seen."
Ty met Charis once in high school in the era of penpals. The two stayed in touch, went to college together and became inseperable.
