- My journey through this great country continues, it is chaos with a certain order. I see things I've never seen before; it has a special essence. Heading to Calabar I find a couple of areas a little tense...

As a Nigerian I don't think I'll have thr guts to explore my country like this, kudos man, I love your videos ❤️❤️
I am surprised. The areas many Nigerians would be scared to enter.
thanks a lot
You said explore your own country. I’d say explore my own state 😂
What the hell are you guys talking about? There’s nothing unsafe about the places he went to. Abi didn’t you see people there?
How do you live in that country, mate?
I discovered you a few days ago on UA-cam. Dam - you have balls! Stay safe and healthy. Mucho suerte!!
Hi Mr.Smith, I am glad you like it, see you next sunday. You too stay safe and healthy
I’m addicted to your channel,so many people missing out on great coverage of Africa
Hi Mike!!! thanks so mucho for your comment, I really apreciate it. Take care
Got hooked too. Now I want to watch everything.
@@Nico-RideMeFive-English hey can u do mexico?
Most of what is written about Nigeria is over exaggerated, reading foreign news articles does indeed makes Nigeria to be an active warzone.
Man you deserve more subs and attention, this is some good content
thanks so much Florian!!! take care
8:11 bruh what's a g-wagon doing there?
Nigeria is not poor there are many of it in that City is called imo state
In Nigeria you will find both extreme poverty and extreme wealth, there is basically no in between, or middle class. You will find nice expensive cars on poorly mantained roads. It's almost embarrassing in a way, at least to me. That people show off their wealth like that, but they don't even have good roads to show off on. It's like putting glitter on a turd.
Honestly this guy is brave. My parents are Nigerian immigrants and we're considering going to Nigeria next year, and honestly I'm terrified. The stories we hear about people getting kidnapped and murdered make me extremely reluctant to go, yet here this guy is travelling through the streets with barely a care in the world. And he's very obviously not Nigerian in appearance, which makes him more of a target. I would never do it, even though I obviously blend in more easily.
Brother G wagon is no longer trending in Nigeria
Lol you'd have seen lambos too if he went to a better area
I got pretty scared on your behalf watching this. I'm Nigerian.
I'm amazed at how adventurous you are. Kudos! 👏🏽
I am glad you are enjoying the videos!
I am not Nigerian, but I do business in Nigeria. I love the country so much, I know I will grow old there. But just as David said, my heart pumps a little faster seeing this. Myself I never travel without security, and here are you, by yourself, on a motorcycle.... From the traffic jams which can be dangerous, to the open roads. Respect my man.
@@nmgve8824 hi, can i think what business you do? And which profitable bisness can be and was in Nigeria, and what about seller gold (how much per gram?), diamond.. so interesting this, did someone try take over the business?
I must say.
You are very brave. If you can do this in Nigeria, believe me..you can do this anywhere.
As a Nigerian, I can't do this.
thanks for you comment Nuel! ✌
muchas gracias to take us with you on this trip. for many it might be encouraging to hit the road finally again after many years of pause. keep rolling!
Wow that last part got me scared
Even I as a Nigerian will not go to some places here
Man may the force be with you
thanks man! take care
This is only my second video I've watched in your series, but I'm already addicted. This is really remarkable and full of culture and suspense. Great job!
I like your video's, drive safe and take good care.
thanks Wiebe!!! you too take care
They directed on the wrong way though. Any other time stay on the express way.
✌
I like how the corrupt ones are so corrupt they ask about the camera It seems like because they don't want others to see him get a pass because he isn't scared of their tactics and want the rest to naturally fear them lol
It's a lawless country doesn't mean you should behave like one!
Relax.
“When in Rome, behave like Romans”
@@damilosky No
@@layorhskye7492 Look up that quote to know what it means. Have a great day!
thanks David!
@@damilosky i know what it means! You want to tell me that if bandits are killing people foreigners must join in to kill people ??
You sound dumb!
19:12 That's my native language.
The man tells a Lady about your Arrival and your name 😄
what language is it?
@IAm13YearsOld it is called Efik, spoken mainly in the southeastern part of Nigeria.
Its derivations include Ibibio, Anang, and Oron.
@@nsikakabasiawak9866 ahh okay, thank you. Have you ever heard of a group called Ibibio Sound Machine?
That gas station girl at 2:32 is one of the most beautiful women on the planet. For her, I'd have to consider the risks of traveling to Nigeria....
haha you are right!
When i see this video, nigerian is not to danger for bikers. All ppl so friendly ITS depend u act to them with respect they Will respect u too.because i was do that before touring to Afganistan, Suriah, Pakistan, and Kolombia. All good
People have been crossing Nigeria on motorcycle for many years they all say that the country is really dangerous
Why do yo put yourself in such mess
You have one life only
People tell you all kinds of stuff. In Marocco they warn you to go to Algier, because "there are bad people" and "Ali Baba" (Bandits). When you go there you will see only nice people, who invite you to their homes, offer you a bed and food and tea. When you tell them that you are heading to Tunesia they tell you not to go there, because "there are bad people" and "Ali Baba". Then you go there and they are very friendly again.
Its repeating. And those people who warn you, they have good intentions and all. They are worried about you. But they have never left their own country. So what they tell you is just rumors and bullshit.
Even in Europe they tell you not to go to Italy or Spain "because its dangerous and people will rob you there." Truth is they are the most beautiful countries with lots of friendly people.
Anything can happen anytime and everywhere. If you dont want to travel thats your loss, really. I have seen the world (two times from Europe to South Asia [through Iran and Pakistan by the way], one time from Europe to Siberia and one time from Europe to South Africa ---> and back again). They were the biggest adventures in my life, and you get used to the lifestyle. Its hard afterwards to get to a "normal" job. Because what we find is normal is actually not. I wasted so much time sitting from 9 to 5 in an office.
Backpacking, travelling with the bike, and press on, continue on your journey, on your life, that really changes you and your perspective on the world.
I can only recommend to do this.
My goodness I can not handle my nerves watching your content man haha, what a crazy and awesome adventure man!! Tu es un pocito loco!!! Jajaja
. My question is can an African do the same kind of a ride accross Europe lol
They will arrest you for spying.
I am surprised by the good tarmac road..its far better than most Indian roads.... travel safe..

Thanks Christopher, see you next sunday
Wow, you passed through Niger bridge
Great work Nico. Being I am a solo rider and most of the time drive up in hills, I really appreciate your efforts and the challenges you have been faced. In simple words, it is not an easier job at all. It is not a matter of liking or disliking a video but the efforts you put in background in such tough situation. Bravo, keep it up man!!! 👏👍
Lovely video I enjoyed it ..Had to go look at your Burkina faso ,Togo and Benin video..Personally I have only been to Benin 🇧🇯..French language was also a barrier ... But try and learn pidgin English..popular in West Africa it will help you communicate easily..safe trip ..Looking forward to your calabar and Cameroon video..

Tbh i wouldn't be surprised if you were abducted there or killed. You just had some % of luck. Most people doing this trips experienced sometimes very traumatic occurrences.
Have you come to philippines sir?
Don believe that was a construction site
Great job hustling the police. Ask them lots of questions, be friendly. They probably are not used to happy people.

You re not meant to go through any blocked road. Most of the times is under constructions or the project even being abadonned. so next time look for other alternative route
