During Monday night's interview, the President slammed the pro-Palestine march planned in London for Armistice Day and said he "totally rejects" comments made by actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie on Instagram slamming Israel's response to the Hamas attacks on the Gaza Strip on October 7th.

Please expand on your thought. How is Israel supposed to defend itself against a terrorist organization in HAMAS who’s directly and continually made it known they want to eradicate the jews. HAMAS intercepts money that is meant to go to Palestinians but instead is funneled to acquiring weapons and pay themselves ridiculous sums of money while the people tgey represent live in abject poverty.
If you work through the logical steps, Hamas must be eradicated.
Palestinians have been rejecting every peace talk for the past 50+ years. They don't want peace, they endanger their other citizens. They hide amongst heavily populated populated areas and then cry genocide. Clearly these are war casualties and not ethnic cleansing. Open your eyes damnit!

The overwhelming majority of Palestinian voters voted overwhelmingly for Hamas whose charter has ALWAYS vowed to eradicate Israel. That doesn't suggest that the majority of Palestinians want to live in peace with Israel. While that isn't the "entire nation" that are problematic, it does seem to be the majority.

He was asked what Israel would have done if hamas was operating out of a hospital or school (like Israel has claimed hamas has done) in Israel, what would their approach to that be? His response was as follows "We wouldn't allow [it]... We'd send in special forces and we would neutralize the terrorists, that's what we've done in the past". So his answer is if it were 'worthy' Israeli lives that could have been lost (which we now know they couldn't give a shit about considering some invaders admitted they have killed their own people both on Oct 7 and the bombing campaign which came after), then they would have used direct, specific, specialist forces to target and remove the problem. HOWEVER, because these are Arabs who they could care less about they went on an air raid attack on the MASSES in Palestine. Because this is exactly what they want. They want and need an excuse to be able to invade and remove as many Palestinians as possible in order to "finish the job" and "mow the lawn" as some zionists/Jewish people say. They want the land and the resources of Palestine while maintaining a good image in the eyes of the west who funds them. They couldn't do this without an excuse, Oct 7 was exactly that.
Israel from it's inception was built on lies, murder and theft, if they wanted to resolve the issue they would have given Palestinians the rights to their homes and not FORCEFULLY taken their homes and lives and children from them. Collective punishment is a war crime , but only if the attacker targets civilisns on purpose. As since israel is doing everything in its power to warn civilians in time, give them ample time to evacuate, war them every single day to leave (which some just dont want to), creates momentary breaks in the bombing to allow them to leave, and also has absolutely NOTHING to gain and everything to lose from killing civilians, than it is not a collective punishment.

Israel has every right to defend themselves. I don't care what it takes. The law is clear, so long as Israel is targeting enemy combatants then the other casualties are an unavoidable consequence of war. If you can name a war without civilian casualties then great otherwise the figures are just red herrings. It is a war and in war enemy combatants are killed and injured as are civilians.
