At least someone would. These two were holding eachothers hands the whole time too squirmy to answer a question of absolute importance. You cannot make peace with a death cult, if you think you can you're as naive as the day you were born.
In his head, that’s the basis of his current show. He asks the question and answers it himself. Any guest he has on his show is probably against his will, which is why he doesn’t let them speak.
Because any kind of peace process is likely to involve Hamas or Gaza wiped from existance. Labelling them publically as such would be counter-productive to a peaceful resolution. For instance, England didn't win against the IRA, a peace pact was formed. @@bkhorsand
If you’re going to have guests on your show, the least you can do is have a conversation with them. Disagree, even. But don’t shout over them, answer for them, and then respond to your own answer. That’s so disingenuous and infuriating. Some of Piers’s conversations have been great this past month. This one was a straight dumpster 🔥.
I'm Algerian, in the middle of the battle of revolution against the French occupation, the French government was calling the Algerian resistance as terrorist organization.

So he should. They are terrorists and Israel should not be and will not be negotiating a peace with them. No more the the allied forces would have negotiated as peace with Hitler and the Nazi’s. So are you a nazi supporter would be valid pre 1945 and the same applies to Hamas
@@drstrangelove9851no it wasn’t the fact you say that says a lot about your intelligence, there’s context and history leading up to what hamas did which if you are having a rational conversation you cannot just say the answers yes and no to such a big and nuanced situation.
@@JoshCunliffe52 The context and history don't matter in this question. Nothing excuses the horrible acts committed by Hamas on Oct 7. Even in a war, those are considered war crimes. Hamas planned it, executed it, and celebrated it. Hamas is a terrorist group, plain and simple.

That's because this simple question shows that many so-called "pro-palestinians" don't actually condemn Hamas. They care more about dead Palestinians than dead Israelis. Peace will never be achieved with Hamas controlling Gaza.
The perfect show for piers : Piers : welcome sir, do you condemn Hamas ? The guest : yes, and they are terrorists. Piers : ladies and gentlemen, this is the show for tonight and thanks for watching.
The guests could literally say they don't condemn Hamas and explain why. There is no point in moving forward if they don't establish their stand on Hamas.
Yea that typically happens when you don't answer the question being asked. "Should Hamas stay in power" and then replying with "there needs to be a ceasefire on both sides" isn't answering the question now is it?
Just realized how piers does his interview. He brings pro Palestine guest but he talks the entire time and gives the pr narrative and pushes the agenda. I love theses guests.
In a court of law everyone seems to understand a yes or no answer, how come two grown men are able to in a simple interview, because their answer will frame them as anti-Semites what they really are.
Piers: "I want to be a fair journalist and hear both sides out" Also Piers: interrupts, shouts, and forces questions that are constructed to frame the guests.
@exoticrpgs5050 he is provoking! Hamas was democratically elected power in gaza. Its not for Israel or Britain to decide if they should stay in power or not. Britain was calling Mandela a terrorist too but later when he was elected as president they had to withdraw that judgment.
@@tahagalal9276 Piers doesn’t believe that the IDF is a terrorist group which they are obviously not, Hamas was founded to commit actual terrorism against Israel. Piers having an audacity to set up a moral check point to condemn hamas for every guest on his show while not being able to condemn Israel is astonishing
Well, it is quite telling when your guest can't agree, at a bare minimum, that Hamas commits terror, or won't say either way. The silence is deafening. I understand why he does this.
@wesa6446 I said that not being able to condemn Israel is also very telling. Condemning Hamas without condemning Israel, which is at the root of all the violence, is hypocritical and that's what Piers is shamelessly doing
It's the same way when America Invaded Afghanistan then all the media would ask the same question to everyone "But do you condemn Taliban?" Like, tf you invaded their country and now you want everyone to call them terrorists. It's the same sheeit all over again. There hasn't been a bigger hypocrite and gaslighter than the west
Hats off to Jeremy. So sad he is not part of British politics anymore. It would have been more rational had he been part of it. It is a shame to see British politics hitting rock bottom with the Tories in power.
Appalling interviewing, Piers. Stay respectful and give your guests a chance. Stop getting so animated when you have calm, reasonable and intelligent guests trying to have an actual discussion.
Its pretty RICH for 2 fork tongued career politicians to accuse a reputed journalist of 'bullying' . What happened to journalistic freedom ? They never let Piers ask questions. Also the Germans did not use civilians as human shields in 1945. The Ham-A*s routinely ties up toddlers on top of their terrorist command centres as human shields.
Piers is acting like my math teacher who asked me 30 times shouting about why i left my notebook at home without letting me answer even ONE Single time.
I started off by watching Piers because I thought he would approach subjects from some point of balance. This is like watching a kindergarten kid throwing a tantrum in front of academics. Kudos to the patience and intelligence shown by Jeremy and Len. Piers, you're a disgrace to the journalism industry - whatever shreds of it remain in the western media.
In the Owen Jones interview he called whats happened in Ukraine as gnocde, but kept refusing to call whats happening in Palestine one because Ukraine is a "democratic country". To me this explained his feelings clearly: white peoples lives are worth significantly more than Arab ones . When challenged he kept dodging, and when presented with a quote from Stanyahu calling for gncde he shut down the conversation. He is also manipulative and disgenious when trying to prove his biases. In the Bassem Yousef one he asked "where is your Nelson Mandela?" - asking about peaceful resistance. Mandela was a violent freedom fighter for decades and waa labelled a trrst by the aparteid government and the US (who had him on that list until 2008, even after becoming SA's president). By definition, resistence groups are violent groups emerging out of oppression. They have been violent groups in all of history. The UN and the Geneva convention support their right to fight. After many weeks of watching him and getting more insight into how he thinks, I believe this question showed Piers real sentiments: Arabs are inherently violent. Towards the end of the Owens Jones interview he had the audacity to say "I am trying to be an unbiased and impartial journalist." He isnt any of that. He is a bias opinion piece centered around one question and the first few hours of October 7th only. He intentionally ignores 80 years of history and 1 month of gncde because he knows he cannot argue for his bias position when challenged with the entire context or more nuanced discussions. Him having pro-Palestinian guests is for the views and for him to be able to say "see I support you, I am fair, I am unbiased" - all while not letting them speak and ending interviees early when he is losing the argument.
What? They just refused to answer and kept trying to change the subject. Do you really believe if Israel threw open the doors for hamas they would not try and kill them????? You are in la la land.
Because they’re not answering the question and attempting to steer the whole thing away from the sticky truth that Corbyn isn’t all together at odds with Hamas and what they want to achieve.
@@eliweber5071 Jeremy did answer his questions. Keeping silent or deflecting means your answer is the opposite of what the interviewer believes. So Jeremy is a YES on Hamas to stay in power and Jeremy is a NO on Hamas being a terrorist group.
Its not a hard question. Len could answer it. 1. Are hamas a terror group (yes/no) 2. Should they stay in power. Jeremy Corbyn is a Hamas Supporter who wants Hamas to stay in power. Piers is an interviewer and he did his job.
@@OwenalpeI imagine, if Corbyn was allowed to speak, he'd have given the same answer as he's given 1000 times: if Hamas is the democratically elected government of Gaza, labelling them a terror group gets us no closer to solving the conflict. They must be treated as a government, otherwise the go-to-solution would be to overthrow the government through military force (creating more extremists), forming a power vacuum that would inevitably be filled by something much worse - ISIS or al Quada may gain a foothold in Gaza for example (this conflict has already been a great recruiting tool for them around the world). You may not like a government, they may be brutal and bloodthirsty, they may be terrorists but a power vacuum always creates bigger problems (just look at Syria and Iraq before/after Gaddafi and Hussein). Besides, a prolonged period of peace will always see an extremist government like Hamas lose support, divide over issues of domestic government without conflict to unify them, etc. The best way to fight Hamas, or any terror group, is to treat them as a government, improve civilian life and pledge more support to a more acceptable party. Interfering with foreign democracies is almost always wrong.
Piers is such a perfect example of the western way of shouting their opinion down your throat and demanding that everyone agree with them. It's so disappointing that we never get to hear in any depth what the views of Morgan's guests are, because he won't stop interrupting them to tell us what his opinions are. When a presenter talks more than his guests, all we learn is that his ego is so inflated he prefers listening to the sound of his own (grating) voice over the voices of his guests. From my perspective, Piers Morgan's stance on the Palestine-Israel conflict isn't just repetitively dull; it's alarmingly self-absorbed. It's as if he's so enamored with the sound of his own voice that genuine discourse becomes an afterthought. His questions echo a narrow perspective, revealing a concerning refusal to truly engage with diverse viewpoints. The sheer monotony of his approach, coupled with his consistently rude and aggressive demeanor towards guests, not only undermines the integrity of his journalism but paints a glaringly pathetic portrait of his inability to transcend his own egotism. The way he hurls insults is truly repugnant, and it's exacerbated by the fact that his questions remain stagnant across all interviews, lacking any semblance of freshness. His one-track mind is evident in his approach, seemingly fixed on a singular perspective. This unwavering focus contributes to the repetitiveness of his questions and limits the depth of discussion, reflecting a notable lack of openness to alternative viewpoints.
The saddest part about this is that piers shows he learned ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from his recent “signs” of growth… you’d think Bassem, Lowkey, Dr Abuelaish etc. would have at least had a small influence on him

Jeremy has said he doesn’t trust Hamas and wants a ceasefire. How would he calling Hamas a terrorist group help the efforts to find a ceasefire? On paper it’s a simple question but the affects of the answer make it far from simple. Piers doesn’t support the ceasefire and is pro Israel based on this video.
Based on THIS video!? He is pro Israel in every video but tries to come off as unbiased by using the one time he did not support war on Arabs (Iraq) and the fact that he is hosting pro Palestine guests. Great but whats the point if you wont let them finish a thought or lie to support your bias? In the Basem interview he asked "where is your Nelson Mandela?".... Mandella was a violent freedom fighter who was lebelled a terrorist by thr aparteid government and the US (including other supporters). I would LOVE if he asked that to someone who could have responded and see how he can justify that!? No resistence group in history was non-violent. He was being manipulative at best. In the one with Owen Jones he blatantly said Ukraine was a genocide but Palestine is not because they are a "democratic country" - in other words, white. He disregards the amount of deaths and damage when it comes to Arab babies but not white ones, which brings it back to Bassems question: what is the rate of children dying today?" For him to accept its a genocide. He then had the audacity to say he is a "journalist" being unbiased and impartial. He isnt any of these things.
@@joelhall5124Because if you want peace, you have to negotiate with Hamas. If Jeremy answers that question it frames the argument towards “you can’t negotiate with terrorists”. Which in turn leads down the road which Piers wants of justifying Israel’s abhorrent actions. Lens was right, to get rid of Hamas there has to be a viable future for Palestinians. Stop the illegal blockade, stop illegal settlements, return to the 1967 borders completely (not 96/97% like Clinton said as if that’s enough). Attached to this Hamas will have to dismantle, provide locations of all their HQs and of course disarm. UN can take the role of verifying that. Finally, Norway, Switzerland and many other nations do not class Hamas as terrorists. So take that how you will.
Piers hasn’t been able to move on from “do you condemn Hamas?” He just changes the words each time. His show has been one of the highest viewed shows in this genocide because he’s playing both parties with “it’s my show”
Because people aren’t appropriately placing the blame of the genocide at the feet of Hamas. They were ELECTED by the Palestinians. There’s enough blame to go around and Israel has a right to defend itself. If someone is holding THEIR mother as a shield while shooting at YOUR mother are you not going to shoot back?
Interviewing and journalism is not about proving your point. It’s about gathering as much info and points of view to reach better outcomes and a better world.
Very well said. I agree. A good interview not asking direct questions and repeat, rather ask and steer the interview that the subject reveal information and it unfolds itself. It is an art, and Piers is a motel art level person.
He doesn't want to hear the truth. When things don't go his way all he's going to do just waist the time till time is up. So sad to be so dumb in your own show
It’s also about holding the interviewees feet to the fire. Corbyn is a skilled politician and knows how to meander his way around tough questions that he doesn’t want to answer because of political expediency. Morgan is also a skilled interviewer and detects when the interviewee is attempting to avoid a tough question, and hence he doubles down his questions and refuses to budge until he gets a straight answer. Morgan did a phenomenal job…
Pierce seemed overly concerned with labels. If Hamas is a terror group (which it is) the same can be said of the IDF for what it has been doing and continue to do at the moment in Gaza. Getting rid of Hamas will only be replacing with Hamas 2.0 or some other name or label when the underlying causes remain
No, the same can't be said of the IDF. Terrorism requires the deliberate targeting of civilians. Not only are the IDF not targeting civilians, they're warning the civilians before they strike, REDUCING the effectiveness of their attack. No terrorist group on Earth would do that. Your argument is baseless and ridiculous.
Hamas was funded by US with the help of mossad which doesn’t represent all the Palestinians. Whereas, idf is a state controlled terrorist group (many former idf soilder acknowledged it). So, Can we say Israel is a terrorist state?
So Piers’ position judging from the many episodes of his show I’ve seen recently seems to be: Israel is wrong in what it’s doing to the Palestinians but we should do absolutely nothing to stop it…
he doesn't say israel is wrong. he says israel has the right after the 7th attack. Yes he agrees innocent civilians shouldn't be killed. But the whole point is Hamas doesn't care about civilians and they use them as human shield. The evidence is all over the place... If they want to be a legitimate military then they shouldn't make and fire rockets from their family homes, schools, beaches etc. You can't blame all the palestinian civilian deaths on israel. Hamas has a big role in that too, they don't defend their civilians. And well palestinians running around with rpg's in civilian clothes, or mob attacking hostages in the back of a pickup aren't "innocent civilians". and seems to me there are loads of those.

Kudos to the patience and intelligence shown by Jeremy and Len. Piers, you're a disgrace to the journalism industry - whatever shreds of it remain in the western media.
Exactly you hit the point!!!
Exactly he can't even lead the conversation in an academic way
In the Owen Jones interview he called whats happened in Ukraine as gnocde, but kept refusing to call whats happening in Palestine one because Ukraine is a "democratic country".

Corbyn: “I’ve just answered your question “
Piers: “why won’t you answer the question… should Hamas stay in power”?

Always remember this pattern,
1) Conflict is always between islam vs other religions
2) Other islamic countries will not accept those affected muslims as their refugees, but they somehow sneak into non-islamic countries. (Russia, whole EU problem with refugees: France, Germany, Spain etc., India divided into 3+ countries, Iran was not an islamic state initially)
3) once they are into non-islamic countries, they create separate laws and try to break that country too.
4) Left leaning political parties of these non-Islamic countries are always playing them up as victims no matter how violent they get
5) Criticism of Islam is blasphemy in Islamic countries and Islamophobia in non Islamic countries which means the religion can never be criticized or refined

Genius

Exactly
And what harm would it do the state the obvious that it is a terrorist group?
Or "his friends" as he called them.
Ironically in hindsight they did a ceasefire and israel broke it a few hours later to shoot at civilians

Because people aren’t appropriately placing the blame of the genocide at the feet of Hamas. They were ELECTED by the Palestinians. Morgan mentioned the IRA .Sinn Fein was their political wing and now they hold most power in Ireland.

@@stephenhennessy1350he did such a good job at asking every guest if they condemn Hamas 😂

Whereas, idf is a state controlled terrorist group (many former idf soilder acknowledged it).

he doesn't say israel is wrong. he says israel has the right after the 7th attack.
