I think it is very unique how much of a role technology plays in HR Management. Before watching this video, I didn't realize how some can do this job very independently.
In this video I learned the 21st century approach to human resource management focuses on more adding the value of employees by promoting their competences, skills, abilities and job experience, As today the role of HR management in an organisation will change to involve more responsibilities to the employees.
The role of human resources has evolved throughout the years, especially after technology was introduced. A human resources employee has many roles in their jobs. They are a brand builder, recruiter, policy makers, annalists and more. They are responsible for much of the success of a company.

HR is all about ppl however with everything now being computerized we have lost the ability to connect with ppl where it matters most and that is during the initial hiring process. We let a broken system do it for us because it is easier. We let competent and qualified individuals slip through our fingers because we rely on too much technology. I have a Masters in HRM and am overlooked for every HR role I apply too.

I've learned that not only is Human Resources used to hire people for a company but they are also brand builders for the company too. Making sure we show and tell people that the place you're applying for is a great place to work and be.
