I'm a radio control airplane fanatic, and model collector. There are some real gems there. Gas tether cars are worth a small fortune themselves. Amazing collection.
Yes, Yes, and Yes keep doing these types of videos as a poor kid growing up that was always the cool stuff that my family couldn’t afford but i fantasied about having i love seeing things that you don’t usually get to see and know more about it
Name's Sonny I Love your bond with your daughter. My youngster daughter is as close as you two on the cars, she is now 26 and has her own 4 year old female mini-me, my Daughter was 7 or 8 I took her for a 100 mile per hour pass on a back road in a '66 Plymouth Barracuda and she was hooked. You have awesome stories. From the Westcoast of the state of Washington.,S.K.
Your on to something great job/video .You have us all drooling. Lots of cool stuff. His wife must be a saint.I'v got a collection of motorcycles and parts in the cellar and garage and the Mrs.isn't happy a little bit.
@@HotRodHoarder Tommy your right about that sir thank you for all the awesome videos buddy hope to see ya at the track next summer maybe you can shoot a video of my chevy 2
Thanks Mr. Rust! I think we have an endless supply of drag racing content at our shop, so I'll sprinkle in some local collections to keep things rolling.
Wow! I have rc airplanes, cars & helis too! No sprint car, just a 347 s trim 88 mustang coupe. Must be one cool dude , everything I would collect if I could. Awesome airplane collection!
Tennessee guys have some of the best collections in the USA. Plus, they are super nice people. I have visited two of them in Nashville who I swapped tether cars with ( Pat C. & Mr. Williamson )
3:52 The little blue sprint car in that case is a Ray Cox Thimbledrome teather car from the 50's. My late uncle had one that he won as a prize for being paperboy of the year. I now have it and it's in mint condition. Love these videos!
Love it bud continue and would love to see some your veihicldislike that old gasser looking vehicle ya talked about and showed pic of .but anyways great vid bud like I said continue and godbless
Very cool stuff hope he enjoys his collection a very long time but it is a great collection for a public display some time I have some wheels like on the back of the Sprint car two peace bolt together
Great stuff, would love to see a video of your Dad's guitar collection. If you ever make your way up to Pike'val to visit Dennis George it would be interesting to see a video of his collection. I was there in the early 90's when he & I worked together at UTA Dayton & he had 30+ cars in various stages of completion at that time.
One of these days I'll go rummage through Dennis' collection. He's been close friends with my dad for over 40 years. Last I heard, he had over 70 vehicles (with titles), and lots of parts cars stashed away in the woods. He still has his black '34 Ford coupe, orange '55 Chevy, lots of cool trucks and other projects. I'd love to get him and his collection on camera--he's one of a kind!
How well do you know the History of the "Stone, Woods and Cook" Willy's Gasser from the 60s ? Steve Cook, the son of Doug Cook is a good friend and allowed me to record a video in his garage filled with SW&C Stuff. Its on my other channel randysfiftysevenchevy under Visiting the Stone Woods and Cook Garage. My 57 is pretty period correct from the 60s so some of your viewers might want to check it out.
Man what is that intake at 7:09 it looks like it holds 4 or 6 carbs that thing is cool I wish I could see that intake better because I have never seen one like that it must be homemade or something
I prefer junk. Real junk. Pull some junk out of the woods and let our imagination take us away. I like the collection but it doesn’t really do it for me. But it was fun to see. Thanks for all you do.
I'm right there with you Bradley. REAL junk is where my heart is, but I can't help but appreciate a collection that's nicely sorted and put on display for people to see and enjoy. I'll try to provide a good mix of JUNK and collections in the series.
Sounds like me kool piles of hoarded junk that's in my way i have step over it climbed, jump, move it, it gets frustrating after awhile maybe i have something that you would be interested in
I like to go to the Wheels Through Time Museum (WTT) in Maggie Valley, NC at least once a year. Personally, I build/collect quarter scale RC cars (NASCAR, PRO STOCK, SPRINT CARS). See www.quarterscalelegends.com if interested.
