Yeah the carb is a mission on these bikes. I found it easier to remove airbox cover when re adding as it’s a pain by airbox side. A few people have said it’s easier if you lift subframe but isn’t something I’ve tried.
Thanks! If I can make my own intake manifold, I'm considering removing the air cleaner box and changing the carburettor. Not sure if I can make my own yet as the manifold is angled.
You can short reed valve base (side carburetor not cylinder) to make it shorter and change carburetor with a bigger one, or cutting the part and integrate with intake manifold for vhsb carburetors, like “maurizio cavaliere mototecnica” document, an aprilia rs125 for road use with 37hp Search on internet: “un’aprilia stradale da 37cv” It’s a document from 90s, maurizio cavaliere did an aprilia rs125 with vhsb39 with short duct, rave always open, de laval noozle on exhaust, etc The rave valve was unnecessary due to high performance with his improvements with the exhaust
I am considering whether to replace the carburettor. If I replace the carburettor, I intends to use a SmartCarb SC2 38mm, and given that I is leaving the oil pump in place, I will keep the VHST 28.
The SAS takes exhaust gases to the airbox. That reduces the burning temperature and, as a consequence, it reduce the NOx gases during the burning process to meet the Euro3 spec. Now you "breath" fresh air all the time. Check your spark plug colour, not to lean out the gasoline and maybe it now creates some more power.

That on UA-cam or Google i got rs 125 34bhp
Great music! Is the Rs 125 rear wheel lighter than the original SX spoked wheel?
I haven't weighed it yet, but the RS is probably heavier.
I did this this time because I prefer the RS wheels to the spokes.
Thanks for the info! Nice clean bike!

Thanks for the advice.
I see.
I don't have a Dellorto MJ, so I'll consider buying a carburettor kit.
