@@elijahlogan7347 But he already has been top 3 in the league the past 4 or so years. Perennial MVP candidate. Monster stats. He does have holes in his game, yes, but what he does bring to the table is enough to bring him to that level. And *too* many holes? He's one of the greatest help defenders in NBA history, one of the greatest transition players and paint scorers in history. Everyone is magnifying his weaknesses, forgetting that a) every player has weaknesses and b) he brings so much more to the table to more than compensate that.
Shaq couldn't shoot either, and he was the best player in the league during their 3-peat. Curry isn't known for his defense. Michael Jordan isn't an elite three point shooter. Kobe had tunnel vision at times. Lebron wasn't a reliable outside shooter for his early career. All these players had these holes too but they've been on top of the league in their respective times.

It's tough to stop Giannis's dunk because (1) He does it with his fully extended arm, which most others can't do because unlike them, he grasps the ball lika a grapefruit with his extraordinarily large hands, and finally, it's tough to get in the way of a 7-footer who charges his way into the paint with, again, extraordinary energy.
