    I have made and sold baked goods from my home for 20+ yrs. The best thing I have found to cut brownies, they never tear or stick, is a plastic knife!! I always keep them on hand especially for brownies.

    I just discovered your channel, I think you're pretty amazing! I'm a single Mum and only have one child (nearly 2 years old), i'm never going to complain again about how hard it can be, I literally don't know how you do it. I am a fan of batch cooking and home made meals too, but the fact you still make this effort with such a big family is totally awesome.

    Great video as usual! I love how your kids help you! My daughter is starting to want to cook again! When she was little she was always helpful then she thought it was not fun now at 17 she is back and we r creating great stuff, I love it! I just bought the same pumpkin spice latte from my Kroger store! I found it last year and loved it so I was so glad to see it again!! I usually can find a coupon for it but for that whole jug is like what u would pay for one drink not even at Starbucks! Lol. Take care and God bless! Mellisa

    A plastic knife (the throw-away kind) works REALLY well for cutting brownies. It's almost like the plastic repels the brownie! There must be some protons/electrons/neutrons science behind it :)

    • @hollyd1392
      @hollyd1392 5 років тому

      Actually it's just oil lol. If you look into the manufacturing process of plastic cutlery the factory applies a coat of oil (not the cooking kind-- btw) to the molds to prevent the plastic from sticking and they are not washed before packaged so they get to the consumer with that coating still on them. It's pretty gross haha.

Great video do you find making the box brownies cheaper than doing it from scratch. I find making it from scratch is usually cheaper but I can only get Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker for $0.99 if on sale I haven't seen it cheaper here in Canada we don't have those type of discount stores that I know of around me I wish I did.

    Just a suggestion...next time you make brownies, you might want to do the eggs first, or at least do a separate bowl, and then add the mix. I’ve ruined several boxes of brownie or cake mix by cracking a bad egg into the mix. Not fun! I’ve learned my lesson!

    • @JenniferJiang2013

      The "Wet Bowl" & "Dry Bowl" method works best I find for most baked goods (cookies, cakes, brownies, etc).
      Edit to Add: Since I bake only for my family, I take an even smaller bowl out to check every egg I crack before I add it to said wet bowl.

I'm going to try that Shawn could eat brats once a week and wouldn't be bothered by it. :-D

    Judging from all the cooking I've seen so far done by you, I would have expected that you make the brownie batter yourself (without cake-mix). But I guess nobodys perfect and has unlimited time 😉
    I really enjoy your videos, just found your channel some days ago. It's so refreshing to see a mother/wife/woman promote her lifestyle in such a useful/informative way! Where I live, a lot of women look down on other women who enjoy being mother/wife/at home 😐 I think it is a very important role and anybody should live as they wish (without harming others) without being judged...so yeah, keep on being you! I hope to start my own family soon 😍

      I appreciate that. That brownie mix costs me $.25 so I couldn't make it that cheap :). Thanks for watching

    In your eggs don't use milk use water. It will be a lot fluffier. The milk thing is old wife's thing. Trust me try it ☺

    37 eegs. That's crazy I couldn't imagine using that many in just one meal.

    If you put a tiny bit of cooking spray or veg oil on the pizza cutter or knife the brownies won't stick to it :)

    Amy, I know you have a lot to say in your videos, but sometimes you talk too fast, I'm high strung and I don't talk that fast unless I'm nervous. Slow down, it's ok to take your time talking. Jack Russell's are usually very active dogs. They can jump 6 times their height! God bless you and your family.
