Yes, providing when you inserted the easter egg you had ‘locate part with move/copy feature’ switched on. You should be able to expand the part icon for the egg in the tree, nested underneath you will find a ‘Body-Move/Copy’ feature, which if you edit will allow you to change the location. When you change the location of the egg this way it should automatically update the position of the indent.
Great tutorial!! I just started as an intern for medical trays. The Indent command is gonna be very helpful. Also thanks for pointing out the search bar!! I never noticed it before to search for features.
Thanks for the example, although I still can't get indent to work on my part. The part I'm using has undercuts, and I would essentially like to "drape" the blisterpack over the part so that it ignores the undercuts. Indent takes 3-4 minutes to "think" (on a pro CAD workstation) then produces no results.
I used circular pattern instead of mirror, so that the text of the Dassault Systemes logo does not reverse.
Thanks for the feedback, Andrew! Glad you found it useful.

This is an older video, but it was exactly what I needed... thanks for sharing!!!

Hello do you have video about how to create this plastic reference that you use for forming an egg
?
Is there any way to automate the exploded view? My background is CATIA. So, it really sucks not able to let the software do it for you.
I'm back :) Can I move the part (the egg) I brought in after I closed the translate/rotate options. I cant seem to find anything to move it.
Wait, what did the circular pattern do?
best Indent Feature tutorial.
I use shell & combine features for blister but indent could be very helpful.
Very clear. Thank you.
so concise!! thank you

6 years later and I'm thinking if you could have an alternate configuration without undercuts that you could run the indent command on.
Thanks
thank you
