agreed with many comments here the cable over the speedo would be difficult for me to deal with apart from that a lovely little buzz box !! thanks for sharing Steve !!
Hi ya, I'm lucky enough to have a KLR250 and an NC700X, two different girls to ride. My KLR loves the dirt and trails, road bike she is not. Roads are means to get between the green lanes. However I wouldn't take the NC near a track. Love the vids , keep them coming
The cable over the dash is a deal breaker for me and at 885 seat would not fill me with confidence my 834 cb500x is my comfort zone and better for my type of riding. Thanks Steve.
I know these are popular and a solid reliable bike. I don't know why people choose them over a good used bike like a DRZ 400 or a CCM404 or 644. People throw so much money at them to get them to perform how they want when you could buy a decent use bike with more power and better suspension and have money left to accessorise.
I preferred the older 70s 80s models, the one's without technology, the ones we could work at. Modern bikes/cars are sadly lacking character and look very much the same. They're obviously designed to Milk road users, with huge service costs and climate tax or omissions tax costs. Don't start me on vehicle insurance which is another gov scam. The bikes look extremely plastic, almost jetski in appearance. Those cables sticking up deserve a recall. Hard to fall in love with but a nippy little bike and fun off road.
You “GS” followers amaze me! How on earth do you even come close to comparing the CRF to a GS? Can you never complete a video without referring back to the most overhyped motorcycle in the history of motorcycling?
The loop of cables obscuring the clocks would drive me mad.
Me too!

Thanks Arch!
If you get a chance, try the Voge 300 rally.
Will do!

Thanks Terry, I’m loving the contents of your garage… great bikes! 😁

Thanks Malcom! 😊
They triumph 400 scrambled is not in the same class has the honda crf 300 it's derived from a motocross. Keep the good work up Steve.
Thanks! 😁
With regular maintenance and servicing that bike would last longer than the owner 😁
Not the kind of bike for me, but I guess it could be fun.

And now there’s a new DR400 to throw into the mix! 😁
The Cable over the speedo is annoying
Can't understand why they would think this was ok
I agree!
Omg what is with those 1980s indicators 🤷🏻 for a 2024 bike

Hi Mike, I agree with all you’ve just said!
