What is the best way to keep the stew? I want to make a batch like this and freeze it, should I use Containers or zip lock bags? Thanks in advance. I love your channel!
If it's cooked very well and frozen, u can keep it for months. It's gravy so it doesn't go bad easily. You can keep it in the refrigerator as well without worries so far as urgent fridge is good and power supply is stable
Very nice! The amount of the dry unground spices that have been dry roasted in the pan seem to be 1.5 Tblsp rather than 1.5 Teasppons. Can you connfirm this?
Thank you so much for this time saving stew base ,amazing, amazing, amazing with great tips that comes with it,so what is the difference between tomato paste and tomato puree????
Always a pleasure dear. Basically tomato puree is a thick sauce like the one I used. Puree however is would be strained after it is cooked a while and cooked some more to achieve a concentrate.
Whats the difference between anise and star anise. I'm really new to all these spices and trying to incorporate to see the difference but end up ruining my food. I also learnt that canola oil is not good at all. Kindly read more about it and use a healthier alternative. Thanks for the recipe.
Star anise is a large see that is shaped and actually looks like a star, it also has a completely different aroma to aniseed. however aniseed are small round seeds like what she used. Google star anise, hope it helps
Hello is it possible to pressure cook the sauce for quickness as I don't fancy cooking for 2 and a half hours on the stove? I have a Ninja Foodi so want to use that. Let me know please 🇬🇧❤️
