For all his almost supernatural gifts one of Elvis' most endearing traits is the ability to laugh at himself and be free spirited goofball who's having fun in the moment.
You'd love "Don't be Cruel" from the 68 special. I love when he picks up the mic stand like a harpoon and shouts "Moby Dick!". Elvis loved having fun on stage. Give it a watch.
The 68er tv special is one of the greatest moments of Elvis life. First it should be a christmas show and then it became this brilliant energy show. His black leather suit had to be dried during the breaks. This tv show was the basis for his las vegas shows. Dani you reacted to a Elvis highlight again. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS. YOU ARE AWESOME!!!
Danny I really love watching your videos make me happy I'm a big Elvis fan so keep putting Elvis content out and I will keep watching your reactions all the time I really love what you do I'm a big fan of yours sincerely bhabhi KO
I always remember an interview I saw with Priscilla close to the time this special was aired and she said this was the first time she had ever seen Elvis perform live in front of an audience. He’s been doing movies and she had never seen him perform live. That just blows my mind. Can you even imagine what was going through her mind. I’d really LOVE to know what she was thinking. Really thinking
The 68 special is perhaps my favorite Elvis performance. All future live versions of these songs must bow down to the 68 versions....just my opinion of course.
I seen this 1968 many times on dvd cds it's a phenomenal performance elvis presley at his raw powerful best a living legend in the primal force of American music es loks es face legs body head neck movements so usual jesus telin I'm go on do it again man and elvis made it e really did it the king of rock n roll
I prefer the stand up version because it’s a real rock and roll song. He looks so happy to be doing music again with an audience. You’re right , one really can’t take their eyes off of him. Loved it & have a wonderful time at Graceland and all the stuff you’re doing. 👍🏻🔥🕺🏻🎸❤️😀
Another beautiful song from the 1968 special is " Love Me Tender" I know you love this song and I don't think you will be disappointed with this gem...🌻
Hey Miss Dani. Well mate, I’ve gotta say it, “Dani Atkinson is in the house ladies and gentlemen”. I’m so envious of you and your mum. You guys are sure having a time there at Graceland. It’s such special and hallowed ground for us loyal fans of our “King”. Damn the “Hillbilly Cat” is shakin that building mate. We love him so much.❤️❤️🌹😜😁👍🎼🎵🎶🎹🕺🎸But what a great reaction from ya Dani. Always on point. Love ya kiddo.❤️🌹🤩🤪👍
There's is even another version in that tv special Of Blue suede shoes. Some good leg and head moment. Its in - This is Elvis. Thanks for your lovely reactions. I must check out your live from Graceland.
@@susyq810 🌺 Hey my big ❤ Thanks so much for asking! It seems like my whole body is my biggest 'enemy' at the moment. I have had severe toothache the last four or five days. My ex-boss is still on vacation. And because i only trust one dentist i have to wait until Monday. 😣 I'm stupid, i know! But he has known me (and my teeth) for over 20 years. So i'm taking ibuprofen and hope i can make it by Monday. I miss you too big sis and i'm thinking of you as well. I hope you and the family are ok so far! 🙏 Sending love always to my favorite sister 🌻👭💕🌈⚡
Dani I loved both versions. In the standing version you could see the Elvis "the Pelvis" side to him. You did a great job with both reactions and it was special from the Guest House!
Fantastic! I'm glad this video finally got past the censors. Yes part of what drove Elvis' fans crazy from the beginning was his sense of humor in teasing his audience. 'The Edge of Reality" from Live a Little Love a Little in the same year, 1968, he does some 50s gyrations like he did in Jailhouse Rock. Double feature of Blue Suede Shoes today, I love it!
What's your first name brother? I never saw it pronounced that way. Yeah Graceland is a must dude went there in 2005. So much more things now since then. Dani's video showed how much more they added. Blown away.
there is another sit down version and another stand up version :) ELVIS was Filmed doing FOUR Concerts in front of the cameras - in his Black Leather , awesome +++++++++++++++++
Glad I'm getting a chance to see this now. What two perfect performances (could never pick between them) to do in Graceland. These are like Elvis personified!! Fantastic reactions - so glad you enjoyed Graceland!
I have a confession to make...the main reason I watch "Thank You, Thank You Very Much Thursdays" is to see Dani's "Elvis Lip Curl"!!! And it's totally worth it!!!
Blue Suede Shoe was the first Elvis song I heard. Carl Perkins also released it at the same time. The radio channel I listened to would alternate between Elvis and Carl.
Carl Perkins was released a year before Elvis released his. Elvis waited until Carl's run in the charts was over as a gesture of respect for his friend.
Hi Dani, thanks for your reaction! Yes, the 68 Comeback Special is an absolutely energetic thrill! Actually it has 2 SITDOW SHOWS AND 2 STAND UP SHOWS! Here are the SECOND STAND UP VERSION OF BLUE SUEDE SHOES: ua-cam.com/video/sEydnPDUOGA/v-deo.html SECOND SIT DOWN VERSION: ua-cam.com/video/dEzbik9BciI/v-deo.html THE END OF THE STAND UP VERSION IS PRICELESS!!! VERY COOL AND EXITING!!! Please react to both! Keep having fun at your Graceland trip! Many greetings from Sven✌😀
The Aloha from Hawaii concert in 1973 was a world wide event. He was the first performer to do a concert world wide and over 1 billion watched it on tv
This figure was invented by Parker, NOBODY knows how many saw the Aloha... that night it was aired to six countries only. The USA only saw it weeks later. The "1 billion" audience is a myth. Please do not spread it anymore.
Dani, you say the 68' comeback special is your favourite, where do you rate 'That's the Way it is' and 'Aloha from Hawaii' concerts? I hope you enjoyed Graceland.
Hey Dani. U always come up with really great reactions. You didn't get ahold of the one I was speaking of but those two were just as entertaining. The one I was speaking of was labeled a rare edition. Or rare edit. He at first was sitting then it switches to him standing. It was also equally exciting. But the one's you chose to react to were like I said Equally exciting. Coolest looking man ever lived.
When they came out with the 68 special full edition around 2005 or 06 and by the presley's dvds. That dvd set is a must have. I have it. I have the Aloha one too.
Hi dani and mom. Thank you getting the blue suede shoes reaction up I tried the first time but it wouldn't but the second time was awesome the wait. Awesome reaction and i can't wait till you and mom get back you and mom should do a live stream question and answer live stream where the listeners could ask how your visit went and what advice you would tell them where to go when they visit.
Those dm Blockheads. Dani I know your so busy and having a ball. You should do a reaction to a scene from laurel and hardy Blockheads movie. A little payback for them idiots. This performance is so great. Love the 68 special. The outtakes and everything is great. Much love to the you and the family
You should see him do this as a younger man. It's pretty amazing. Not that this wasn't amazing. It's great to put a spotlight on somebody who was just really so good. And you're totally right. The guy was a total goofball when he wanted to be but he also is known to have a temper for example and when they told him he couldn't bring his black singers into a certain venue for a certain performance and then he would get so angry he would throw sit around the room and he would threaten to cancel the show unless they capitulated.
For all his almost supernatural gifts one of Elvis' most endearing traits is the ability to laugh at himself and be free spirited goofball who's having fun in the moment.
That's what made him the most charasmatic stage performer 😎
Elvis + black leather+
vocals+ charisma+ guitar= perfection🎸💕
This man was just outstanding and beautiful
Expression on his face works hand in hand with his mind, his heart, his body and of course his voice.♥️
The band wasn't just a band, they were all Elvis's good friends.
How can you not love Elvis. He is a feast for my eyes. Only one Elvis God made him and throw the blue prints away. Love both.😘😍😎🕺
He was the ultimate genuine performer. Class at its best. Legendary.
You'd love "Don't be Cruel" from the 68 special. I love when he picks up the mic stand like a harpoon and shouts "Moby Dick!". Elvis loved having fun on stage. Give it a watch.

Spectacular presence and preformence. He is all over the place . You should also see this video from live show 1970 .
Great to see some Elvis reactions...he was a true entertainer and the most genuine person I have ever met. Thanks and stay safe.
Hey, Mark! I'd love to hear about the circumstances of how and when you met Elvis! I wish I'd had the privilege. :)
@@tidegirl8150 yes me too!

I can't choose one over the other. They are both FIRE and incomparable. Elvis is so magical and irresistible. ❤️🔥❤️🔥

It ought to be against the law to be that gorgeous😘😍 oh my gosh he looks so good in that black leather!🔥🔥 I love me some Elvis😚💙💜❤
I can't pick a favorite Elvis song. I can pick my favorite 700 songs. Keep on rocking my friend.
Another beautiful song from the 1968 special is " Love Me Tender"

The universe isn't expanding for the sake of expansion; it's merely trying to catch up to Elvis Presley.
The stage was made for people like The King!
I would have loved to have been that guitar!!! 🎸🎸🎸
Doesn't matter what version! 😊
Hope you enjoy(ed) your Graceland adventure Dani!

Dani that’s one of my all time favorite Elvis movies
Movie 😳. They say he couldn't act🙄. If u act like the coolest dude on earth then yeah. Much love.
Really Cool Dani!! Have fun! I remember where I was when I heard Elvis passed away! He WAS THAT HUGE!!
Everyone knows where they were when he died. Anyone I ever talked to, from age 3 up. The only other ones are JFK, 9/11. I might be missing one.
I was 16. I came home and my mom was watching tv crying. That's when i found out. I watch and listen to the king everyday.
Mark, I remember one other icon that way: John Lennon
Remarkable-you nailed it again! Never was, never will be again.
Right on again Dani. I love the way you feed off EP. Im subscribed babe.xx
Elvis Presley el. Mejor cantante de mundo y es y será el rey de rock
Rockin roll!!
Love you Girl. I am happy you are having fun. 🤗
They filmed 2 shows, one for family and friends and later in the evening one for fans.
The song itself has such a Interesting history. An inspiration,A car crash and a phone call from a friend changed rock n roll music history.
I like the standing version but so hard to decide you should listen and watch Welcome to my world in Hawaii and Patch it up in the 1970 Las Vegas
Hi, Dani, it's good to finally get to see this reaction, I tried on Thursday, but it got blocked...THOSE BLOCKHEADS!
Laurel and hardy.
Can't choose both are very good .
Great stuff
Love it!

The scene by the beginning when Hardy visits Laurel at the Veterans hospital. Classic, if you've never seen it. That reaction would be great.
