Let's get down to brass tacks here: This fight ultimately came down to "Who could last the longest pitted against an opponent with an elemental advantage?" In the end, it wasn't going to be the plant lizard, or the fire lizard- it's going to be the lizard with a motherfucking shell armoring 85% of his body, simply because defense. Yes, Blastoise can't fly, and yes, Blastoise can't stun or sleep his foes, but those are techniques focused not on enduring your weakness, but on trying to avoid it. One can only dodge an advantaged opponent for so long.
Plus, Blastoise has a lot of Ice-type moves that counter Charizard, while Charizard doesn't have anything to counter Blastoise, save for moves like Energy Ball or Solar Beam that he doesn't learn by level-up. And, of course, poor Venusaur didn't have any Rock-type moves in his set to take Charizard down.
I do respect venusaur alot. Incredibly underrated, despite predicting he was not going to be able to do much too. But you shouldn't let this get to you either. A good trainer can make the outcomes here completely change with enough effort.
venosaur my favorite too.but charizard started faster and writers make venosaur just stand there while c. and b. fighting.if i was venosaur i would use leech seed both of them.(or at least on blastoise since its slow than charizard) then use it sleep powder.while they sleeping i wll gain hp so i just use solarbeam on b. and attacks like body slam on c. and win.but v.doesnt have a change to win in this video because charizard fly to get away from powder and while v. fight charizard venosaur cant hurt blastoise because its on shell.(but i still dont get it why isnt used leach seed.)
Except Venasuar has access to poison type moves and even Toxic. All it needs to do is hit both and just synthesis and giga drain until the others are dead.
TheAnimationAnalyst Meh, ignore em analyst.... other than that about you knew about blastoise being the best... AS A NINJA TURTLES fan and turtle species fan in general... I say to all: Never underestimate the "turtle shell" ;D Best defense... is the best offense.
Venausur is great, sleep is really powerful, if it had worked on Charizard instead of Blastoise the entire fight might have gone very differently. I wonder how the hell they included likelihood in the equation, for example one attack with 1% accuracy and one identical, except for 99% accuracy would have the same number of affected scenarios, since there are just 2 possible effects in every situation it is used in, even though one attack is clearly superior.
Here are the rules of Death Battle(just in case there are fanboys who are spewing BS) The warriors can only know of each other if they do know each other in canon in both OFFICIAL universes (as seen with Leonardo strategizing in his match against his brothers). Otherwise, they cannot know each other's movesets. Even if they do know of each other in canon, no one is allowed to prepare for the fight (e.g. Batman and Spider-Man had to use their default weapons instead of using weapons designed to exploit each other's weaknesses, like Spider-Man's weakness to pesticides). A battle has to end with the loser dying, at least as far as physical forms are concerned (for example, being reduced to little more than a ghost, or gods and similar characters left with no mortal avatar to continue fighting with). Pacifist warriors will not have their peaceful nature interrupt the fight, and both combatants will have any personality restraints from killing removed. However, if their traditional arsenal uses nonlethal weapons, they cannot change it (e.g. Batman). They can only use lethal weapons if they have them as part of their regular arsenal. All other traits will be represented with accuracy based on the warrior's canon universes (as stated with Goku, expanded universes, like GT, are only allowed to be mentioned if they do not conflict with the original canon, like the DBZ manga). All consistent and canon sources available during the time of the episode's release will be examined by the hosts. If the warrior has different canons, the canon used will most likely be the most popular depiction (e.g. G1 Starscream, G4 Rainbow Dash, and modern-day Batman). The research will avoid biases. If one warrior is allowed abilities from a non-canon source, the other warrior must be allowed to use their own non-canon sources as well. Also, if a certain depiction of the warrior has them ridiculously overpowered or inconsistent (like Shao Khan turning into a hydra in the live-action films), or powers that would be difficult to examine logically (e.g. pre-1986 Superman could destroy entire solar systems WITH A SNEEZE and could both "super-weave" and "super-shapeshift") then it will not be used. Not every weapon owned by the warriors in every canon will be used. Instead, only the ones they are commonly using (as seen with Rogue or Batman) or the battle will allow some of their best weapons (e.g. Link and Cloud were equipped with their best armor and magic). If a warrior originated from foreign media, the American dub will not be used if it contradicts the original source in any way (i.e. Goku's abilities used the Japanese canon, not the English dubs and mistranslations - which for sake of example slowed down his Instant Transmission). To get as many common abilities as possible, the warrior will be shown at their latest depictions or their oldest age as an active warrior (e.g. Harry Potter is depicted as his is at the end of The Deathly Hallows when he learned all his skills, not while he was a young kid in The Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone where he only knew minor spells. Or Goku knowing Super Saiyan 4 and being 53 years old, which is his age in DBGT). However future canon will be avoided (some characters like Superman will gain more power in the future in DC One Million while some characters like Batman will grow old and weak like in The Dark Knight Returns.) Summoning other combatants is not allowed unless the battle calls for it (like how Eggman and Wily fought with their armies). Unless the battle asks for multiple characters for each side, the combatants must fight alone with their weapons, even if they are used to fighting with a partner (like how Pikachu wasn't allowed to have Ash command him). The only exception is if the fighter uses a creature for an attack that can reasonably be replaced by a non-combatant projectile (like how Peach can summon a sheep that doesn't do anything but fly at the opponent and put them to sleep with contact, or the Goomba firing Mini-Goombas) or when the act would fall under using the environment to their advantage (like how Batman can summon bats from the surrounding area with his gadgets), but the fighter cannot be dependent on these creatures and, in cases of summoning as an attack, the creatures cannot act on their own (like how Link and Cloud were not allowed to use summons or fairies because the summons attack on their own once summoned and the fairies are sentient beings making a decision to help Link once he runs out of hearts). The terrain chosen in the fight will either be a terrain from the fighters' franchises (like Superman's Metropolis or Goku's mountainous terrain) or would be a location that both warriors are experienced in (like Batman and Spider-Man fighting at night in a city). The area itself however doesn't matter nor play any role in determining the outcome of the battle, and even the entire battle itself is just a visual representation of the researchers' conclusions. The environment only becomes important if a character's skills use it, like with Leonardo hiding in the shadows or Chun-Li/Mai wall-jumping. Vehicles, steeds, and the like are generally not allowed (for example, Batman was not allowed to use his Batmobile, Tails didn't have any of his mech walkers, Link didn't have his horse/boat/train/loftwing, although Harry got his broomstick and Bomberman got a Rooey). The fight at the end of the episode is not what determines the victor in battle. It is nothing more than a fun little dramatization showcasing most if not all of the research displayed beforehand of the combatants in action. The winners are determined before the battle through quasi-scientific analysis of their abilities, and the character with the objectively better abilities will win.
Sora Panda Because they didn't take their different speeds into account, they didn't have the pokemon attack in turns like they were supposed to, they had the slower pokemon attack faster, they didn't realize the final four attacks that each pokemon was supposed to have, and they apparently don't think that those of us who are into pokemon already know that math essentially determines the outcome.
as for the animation, they have 3 animators now, each working on different fights. this is why they can now put out new episodes every 3 weeks, 2-D fights are alternated between Mali, (who did Fox v. Bucky ground, & This Battle Royal) and Eric, (who did Fox v. Bucky space, & Luigi v. Tails), while simultaneously aloting Torrian time to produce his epic 3-D fights like Robocop v. Terminator
***** yeah the first 19 Death Battles were done by Wiz himself, Ben Singer, before they switched to professional Jordan Lang, when Jordan had to leave after Ivy v. Orchid, they implored this strategy with every Death Battle since, they are great at making improvements
Nice to see I was not alone in voting for the Bazooka Turtle, this was a very fun fight to make and I'm happy to see most people are okay with the results. As for next time, the character you saw was named Fulgore a combat robot featured in the "Killer Instinct" series, the same series that Orchid and Riptor who both fought Ivy and Yoshi come from. (Both of which are great episodes you should watch haha)
Bazooka Turtle is awesome. lol And I'll be watching them, don't worry. It's only a matter of time :P (Which means poor Peach VS Zelda. That's been pushed back a bit, I think. XD)
Princess Anna I do! I was pleasantly surprised by "Frozen." I think the hype is a bit much and I did become annoyed by how often it (or, at least, its songs) were brought up, but I had a good time seeing it in the theater with my family, and I think you two are my favorite Disney princesses. :)
Fulgore is from the Killer Instinct franchise. There've been two other KI characters on Death Battle, Riptor, who fought Yoshi, and Orchid, who fought Ivy. Here's a clip to show you what he's capable of FULGORE -142 Hit Double Ultra Combo (Killer Instinct 2014)
***** I can see that. I think it was mostly the chest-beam thing that made me think of the Thor guy. (Yes, still too lazy to Google-confirm its name. haha)
I'd love to see your reactions to Yoshi VS Riptor, Zitz vs Leonardo and Kratos VS Spawn. All very good battles with outcomes that are not easy to guess.
do Hoenn, as all 3 of the Hoenn starters were characters in the series, and they all reached their final evolutions, plus Grovyle is easily the biggest badass in Pokemon ;)
Oh man, have I ever even mentioned that I'm a Let's Player just like you? Cause I am haha, that and your reaction videos are the reason I found you in the first place.
ok, I gotta say that the death battle was really good. I am not feeling upset that Charizard got his butt beat cause Death Battle is going by them as wild Pokemon. so even though Charizard got beat, I am still gonna stick with him.
It's funny when I saw the beginning of the battle. I was thinking "aw, it's so cute" and then I remembered how 2 of them were going to die bloody, brutal deaths. Also, based on how fulgore is in the next death battle, and that he is a robot from a fighting game, I think he will be going up against Sektor from MK.
Fulgore is from the Killer Instinct fighting game. Back in the super Nintendo days and still today he is the only character I could actually play as a kid. He is my favorite fighter from that game. I'll be excited to see the analysis from screw attacks research of the two and the results at the end^_^.
I remember getting PKMN Blue and the very first PKMN I got was Bulbasaur. I still use all three starters and they all rock, but Venasaur will always bee my first pick.
@@Ris_Grestar if you are doing a kanto gameplay bulbasaur is definitely the best choice, in terms of the gyms it wrecks brock and misty, resists Lt surge, matches erica, and koga and wrecks Giovanni's ground types, the only gyms it doesn't fair well against are sabrina and Blaine, as well as team rocket who use mostly ground and poison types.
I wanted Charizard to win. :/ This video has killed the other half of my Childhood, however I know Deathbattle is brutal but I wasn't expecting it to be like this, because well its Pokemon. It was good either way. :D
I enjoy your videos, it's always good to watch someone else's reactions to these Death Battles. This one did make me a little sad because I'm a big Pokémon fan, lol. The only problem I had with this one was that it was a 3-way battle, I agree with their analysis, but there's always too many variables in those battles.
CHARIZARD! NOoooo! and VENUSAUR! erm... The Froggy plant thing! Oh, no! IT'S LUIGI VS TAILS... ALL OVER AGAIN! Okay, that's done... Now I'm 0-3 out of all of my official predictions! I got it all wrong(Venusaur my choice to win, Charizard for being an obviously best attacker, or the random event that everyone dies) ouch! However, I learned a ton that I didn't know. Move over Venusaur... Blastoise is gonna be my first pokemon! I haven't played a single pokemon game, yet feel rewarded by watching this(except for the gruesome plant and animal abuse lol). In the end Death Battle also proved which of these would win in a no win scenario. I gambled and went into that battle on a blind choice! I knew the series enough from the first few anime seasons and 1st movie. No matter what gen I get for my 1ST game that Blastoise pokemon will always be on my team!
It seems like you accurately predict who wins these death battles a lot of the time, it's like you watch it before you record and don't tell us or you are a psychic, either way it's conspiracy time!
To think about it, math always there in pokemon. So the winner of this death battle is blastoise. If they all were all max level on everything, charizard would have win about 52% of the death battles because of his two mega forms and his mega ablilities sun dought, and dragon skin. Iknow tthis because i have two charizarda on my team in x and y. They kick asss if i need help with speed or type difference.
You ever watch one of these before the entire match and info data structure was shown and already KNEW who was gonna lose? But you really didn't want him to lose? Ya....this was one of those fights. Plants just....not good bro. Sigh...
Shritistrang Sure, but if you ever faced the Ninja Turtles against the Samurai Dinosaurs, or the Karate Dragons, I'm pretty sure they'd lose (since Blastoise, Charizard and Venusaur all have special powers)
***** Umm..... no. Do you realize that Torterra is a Grass/GROUND right? I am a Fire/FIGHTING type. Both fire and ground are super effective against steel. Plus, his moveset barely does ANYTHING to us. I'm the fastest of the 3 so I would be able to kill Empoleon in 1-2 Close Combat's. Torterra easily dominates Empoleon by type advantage and ground type moves.
I'm in the same boat as you Ris. The only generation I haven't played is the fourth one. Well, that and the most recent two, but that's just because gotten around to buying them yet.
In Pokemon Gold I had a Charizard with oddly high defense stats in addition to high offense & speed, I can remember that I had Charizard going up against a Water type that was a significantly higher level (I think it was 15-20 levels higher), and yet my Charizard was able to tank *three* Hydro Pump hits before Charizard's health dropped into the red. Sadly, the Pokemon Gold cartridge that had that Charizard is no longer functional. :(
Raistlin Moore you probably couldve traded it for something i love my blastoies but i have the second latest gen my friend gave me all the starters I loved my blastoise
After taking time to think about it, Solar beam versus Charizard, before other stats, would have a base of 120/4 (2 type resistances), or a base of 30, whilst it looked like Charizard's flame thrower, which would have a based of 90X2, or a base of 180 (supper effective).
what they said about charizard's was wrong.. a full grown charizard is not 5 feet that's the size of ash's charizard which is a runt an that is the second smallest size a pokemon can be so yeah charizards full grown can be like 10 feet
I hope to continue releasing one per week on Saturday, or, if not, Sunday. New releases will take priority, and I'll obviously skip the ones I've already watched. :)
I'm surprised that Rain Dish (Blastoise's Hidden Ability) wasn't taken into account, it was even pointed out in the Analysis, Blastoise would have been recovering more health while the Rain was up.
I have done one Q&A already, but I'm thinking that I can do another one once (if) I reach 5k subscribers. That way, there will be more people with new questions :)
This battle was epically Brutal, Like all battle royals, and Blastoise is my 3rd favorite Pokemon and i loved how he was eating Venusaur's flower at the end, anyway are you going to go by chronological now, I thought you would say this in this Video, if you are then next is Rogue vs Wonder Woman. ps that is Fulgore, the psycho robot from Killer Instinct, though who he will be fighting is not yet confirmed.
Does anyone have any idea who is the goddamn frekin' robot in the next battle? I know already a lot of character world wide but still how many character I don't have any information about. Deathbattle don't even shown the opponent of this robot. Great. Honestly I was expecting an anime-kind magical girl battle, but Screwattack gave us another rebus.
A way charizard could win is charizard sleeps while blastoise is still awake and attacks venusaur. venusaur kills blastoise then charizard kills venusaur As for venusaur blastoise kills charizard leaving venusaur and venusaur kills blastoise.
Good question through, but Blastoise was in his shell for almost the entire battle until the 1 on 1 moment against Charizard, so I guess Petal Dance would be useless. Plus i think they used the third gen pokedex. If that's the case then it would make sense. Again, my thought only and not fact so don't Tackle me. (www.serebii.net/pokedex-rs/003.shtml)
I wonder, was this pretty much just their way of prepping us for Godzilla vs. Gamera? After all, lots of Pokémon, especially in Gen 1, can be seen as similar to kaiju.
Let's get down to brass tacks here: This fight ultimately came down to "Who could last the longest pitted against an opponent with an elemental advantage?"
In the end, it wasn't going to be the plant lizard, or the fire lizard- it's going to be the lizard with a motherfucking shell armoring 85% of his body, simply because defense.
Yes, Blastoise can't fly, and yes, Blastoise can't stun or sleep his foes, but those are techniques focused not on enduring your weakness, but on trying to avoid it. One can only dodge an advantaged opponent for so long.
Wow, never even thought about that, but ur so right!
PeterDivine true

And, of course, poor Venusaur didn't have any Rock-type moves in his set to take Charizard down.
It was sad to see Venusaur lose, but I was glad that Blastoise won.
Same but why was he eating venausaur
Kieran Watson
cause that flower venausaur had was nutrition i think so maybe thats why lol
Kieran Watson Turtles Love Flowers, and he EARNED it
you sir are correct HE EARNED HIS WAY TO WIN!
john smith
and cuz flowers he need nutrients to heal that wound on his head.
Who else felt Bad for Venusaur?
me
Brendin Veness me
Me He is best kanto starter (coolest and stronger)
Me
Brendin Veness me I love vensuar so much
VENOSAUR NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WERE ALWAYS MY FAVORITE!!!! *goes to cry in shower*
Clayton Cowan they are wrong cos there's no turn system 3rd comment
Venusaurs a jag
Daheck does that mean?
I do respect venusaur alot. Incredibly underrated, despite predicting he was not going to be able to do much too.

7:17-7:40 that was just beautiful
Lol, screw eating chicken wings. Someone get me some charizard wings :)
And instead of veggies, Venusaur remains.
7:20 is the greatest moment in the history of the internet.
Except Venasuar has access to poison type moves and even Toxic. All it needs to do is hit both and just synthesis and giga drain until the others are dead.
Oh, they’re not going to be influenced by trainers.
Me during this whole battle: "Ow. My childhood."
7:21 best logic how blaistoise existed ever
I always knew Blastoise was the best of the three.
Shut up..
rulis aguila Wow. Rude much?
TheAnimationAnalyst i feel like such a nerd knowing that charizard's pokedex entry shown in the vid was not the kanto's one, it was the unova's one.
TheAnimationAnalyst
Meh, ignore em analyst.... other than that about you knew about blastoise being the best...
AS A NINJA TURTLES fan and turtle species fan in general...
I say to all:
Never underestimate the "turtle shell" ;D

see!? not many people love u bronies

Dude, calm down.
Camilo Gamer Dude, don't +1 yourself
Dude, don't give me orders.
Camilo Gamer Dude, don't give me orders too
Excellent explanation my good Sir
I imagine this is what a three way battle would look like with nuzlocke rules
This has to be the best and most well thought out death battle yet.
Gear Head It's...actually one of the least
HmatMotu Why do you say that
Sora Panda Because they didn't take their different speeds into account, they didn't have the pokemon attack in turns like they were supposed to, they had the slower pokemon attack faster, they didn't realize the final four attacks that each pokemon was supposed to have, and they apparently don't think that those of us who are into pokemon already know that math essentially determines the outcome.
If it was in turns it wouldnt be a death battle it would be pokemon
But they claimed to have determined the outcome using pokemon mechanics
I realized the first time i watched this charizard learns shadow claw and dragon claw by TM
Leave it to DeathBattle to make Pokemon an M-rated game
as for the animation, they have 3 animators now, each working on different fights. this is why they can now put out new episodes every 3 weeks, 2-D fights are alternated between Mali, (who did Fox v. ***** yeah the first 19 Death Battles were done by Wiz himself, Ben Singer, before they switched to professional Jordan Lang, when Jordan had to leave after Ivy v. Orchid, they implored this strategy with every Death Battle since, they are great at making improvements
Is anyone else wondering why sleep powder looked like poison powder and why it only made Blastoise fall asleep?
Charizard was fast enough to fly away before it took effect. Blastoise was to slow to escape so he hid in his shell.
Nah. ivy vs orchid was boring as hell. Mostly because it fell between two AWESOME episodes. strider vs ryu and fox vs bucky
***** Whether or not a fight is good is subject to opinion. I happened to like Ivy vs Orchid, but feel free to disagree.
MaxOfFewTrades So, Which MK cyborg will Fulgore be fighting?
Bazooka Turtle is awesome.
lol And I'll be watching them, don't worry. It's only a matter of time :P (Which means poor Peach VS Zelda. That's been pushed back a bit, I think. XD)
Hopefully you'll watch Snake VS Sam soon : 3
Ile Master If Saturday the 13th is soon, then yes!
+Ris Grestar hey ris? do you like my movie?
Princess Anna I do! I was pleasantly surprised by "Frozen." I think the hype is a bit much and I did become annoyed by how often it (or, at least, its songs) were brought up, but I had a good time seeing it in the theater with my family, and I think you two are my favorite Disney princesses. :)
***** thanks
+Ris Grestar what's your thoughts on the upcoming Pokemon (Charmander evolution line) vs Digimon (Aogumon evolution line)
Fulgore from the game Killer Instinct.
Thanks!
Fulgore is from the Killer Instinct franchise. There've been two other KI characters on Death Battle, Riptor, who fought Yoshi, and Orchid, who fought Ivy. Here's a clip to show you what he's capable of FULGORE -142 Hit Double Ultra Combo (Killer Instinct 2014)
lol Cool, thanks!

I can see that. I think it was mostly the chest-beam thing that made me think of the Thor guy. (Yes, still too lazy to Google-confirm its name. haha)
Ris Grestar would you mind watching shadow vs vegeta debunked?
7:21 Oh man, that's just to dang funny!
They need to do the other starters, I'd love to see the Hoenn or the Sinnoh starters going up against each other
+dorourke105 I would like Uvona starters to fight. I like Samarott best by the way.
I'd love to see your reactions to Yoshi VS Riptor, Zitz vs Leonardo and Kratos VS Spawn. All very good battles with outcomes that are not easy to guess.
I kinda thought Blastoise would win, but I still wanted Venusaur to win just because I feel sorry for him :(
i wanted blastoise to win, but i felt bad for venusaur to
The animator's channel for this death battle is link1812. Check it out.
I would love to see these kind of death battles but with the johto, hoenn, sinnoh, unova, and kalos starters also greninja vs sheik from legend of Zelda
do Hoenn, as all 3 of the Hoenn starters were characters in the series, and they all reached their final evolutions, plus Grovyle is easily the biggest badass in Pokemon ;)
In a Johto DeathBattle they better not miss the opportunity for Feraligatr to bite Meganium's long neck.
That's pointless, really. Blastoise won,so why not do something different? Have all the water starters fight each other.
And Zelda lost agaginst Peach,Zelda is Sheik,so Sheik vs Greninja will never happen.
Oh man, have I ever even mentioned that I'm a Let's Player just like you? Cause I am haha, that and your reaction videos are the reason I found you in the first place.
You are awesome MaxOfFewTrades.
lol No, I don't think you ever have!
ok, I gotta say that the death battle was really good.
Awesome, thanks :)
Turtles. Always. Win.
Convoi Slow and steady
The first video i watched of Ris....AWESOME
We called it! :)
I remember getting PKMN Blue and the very first PKMN I got was Bulbasaur. I still use all three starters and they all rock, but Venasaur will always bee my first pick.
Ahh, loyalty. Good man :)
This video has killed the other half of my Childhood, however I know Deathbattle is brutal but I wasn't expecting it to be like this, because well its Pokemon.
This video is the funnyest thing on pokemon I've ever seen... Thank you, just thank you
It seems like you accurately predict who wins these death battles a lot of the time, it's like you watch it before you record and don't tell us or you are a psychic, either way it's conspiracy time!
Plot twist: I've been dead this whole time.
***** Makes sense ... ghosts know everything ... i mean look at boos .. they ALWAYS cover themselves RIGHT when you turn around like they KNEW
***** Thank you :)
***** Ha ha! but seriusly you look honest so I belive in you.
***** if that is the case then i am hoping for cyrax to win just because i like mortal kombat and never played KI
For those who don't know who's in the next death battle,is Fulgore from killer instinct, and they haven't select his oponet yet.
Ive watched a few of these videos but all of the ones that i have seen he has always gussed right. Every. Single. Time
+Kenneth Wu lol Trust me, I've guessed wrong. You've just happened to pick ones where I was right, I suppose!
+Ris Grestar
This is the first time a youtuber with 50,000 subs+ has replied to me thx
EASILY one of the best, accurate, and most brutal Deathbattles EVA!
They kick asss if i need help with speed or type difference.
maybe but also remember that Charizard is incredibly frail as well.
But there was never going to be any mega evolutions in this
If Megas were allowed, Venusaur would stomp.
Jobu Matthew tell me why my mega charizard Y stomped many mega venusaurs at my college?
31-61l3EAT5 cause it's a fire flying type against a grass poison type... duh.
who thinks its a good idea to make a death battle with all the wiiners of the prevoius death battles, think about it SONIC V.S. MASTER CHIEF
You ever watch one of these before the entire match and info data structure was shown and already KNEW who was gonna lose? But you really didn't want him to lose? Ya....this was one of those fights. Plants just....not good bro. Sigh...
Omg I've been waiting for you to upload this :3
Only in Pokémon could a turtle kill a dinosaur and a dragon. :P
So true hahaha
There are some badass turtles in fiction. Blastoise, the Ninja Turtles, Gamera!
Shritistrang Sure, but if you ever faced the Ninja Turtles against the Samurai Dinosaurs, or the Karate Dragons, I'm pretty sure they'd lose (since Blastoise, Charizard and Venusaur all have special powers)
Plz tell them to do a anvengers battle royal if not when you have a chance. (No hawk eye or black widow) :(:)
***** y u no play my generation? :(
lol Well, when it came out I didn't have a DS, so I missed the initial hype.
***** Oh! Now it makes sense! :D
Infernape i loved you in pearl u were my only pokemon i used... the rest were lvl 3...never used startly
Wesley Aan Thanks man. It means a lot. :)
I stayed up all night waiting for this to come out just to see CHARIZARD loose
I love blastoise
And me
Blastoise is my fave pokemon
josh khushf AND ME
Doge Craft but i like charizard more :3
Me too
I Love You Blastoise ♥
I'm in the same boat as you Ris. The only generation I haven't played is the fourth one. Well, that and the most recent two, but that's just because gotten around to buying them yet.
Is it just me or are these Death Battle Royales a lot more bloody than the others?
as should be expected
Just think Hunger Games.
Didn't see it.
@@ThorG-mg2yx it's a shame that they haven't done more of these.
At 11:20 I know blastoise can learn rain dance so will that put out charizard so tail
One thing that really bothers me in this Death Battle is that Charizard can fly, a wild Charizard can't learn fly.
Can wild Charizard fly in the anime? Maybe those working the animation were thinking about that.
***** Maybe, i'm pretty sure Ash never gave Charizard an HM but he can still fly.
I think they where just like "Hey its got wings and it can fly so why not have it fly?"
Well when you think of it. Charizard can learn Fly any time he wants, logically speaking. He DOES have wings.
IcyFlame Power But he can't learn fly. Scyther has wings, he can't learn fly. (Not even with an HM).
Venasaur didn't even use all of his powders. He could have used syntheses to recover
#teamcharizard
he died
that was april man
guy awesome ya he died in april XD
no you your talking about this now
guy awesome so what does it matter no
Charizard is going to be in the next smash bros. you can see that at 4:36
I had a feeling Blastoise would win.
***** Could be...
Oh hey, I've seen you around before...anyways I wanted venusaur to win but i just knew it would be between blastoise and charizard
***** me too
kristen haller
off course red vs blu, i had a feeling that they gonna do that.
We saw it coming from a mile.
U could do a top 10 deathbattles video. Just giving some options to you. Have a great day.
blastoise sucks it always died when i used it i freed it
Raistlin Moore lol I'm sorry you had difficulty raising Blastoise.
Raistlin Moore Maybe u didn't focus on stats i recommend smogon for strategies
gℓђgℓђgℓђgℓђgℓђgℓђgℓђgℓђgℓђgℓђgℓђgℓђ
So who would win win a destroyer battle, one from thor or the one from borderlands.
That is so nice that you researched info about the characters who are going to fight
After taking time to think about it, Solar beam versus Charizard, before other stats, would have a base of 120/4 (2 type resistances), or a base of 30, whilst it looked like Charizard's flame thrower, which would have a based of 90X2, or a base of 180 (supper effective).
The next battler is fulgore vs ???
what they said about charizard's was wrong.. a full grown charizard is not 5 feet that's the size of ash's charizard which is a runt an that is the second smallest size a pokemon can be so yeah charizards full grown can be like 10 feet
just the anime being inconsistent to the games.....again
Fulgore VS Sektor was just recently released.
now when you are doing these chronologically, how many episodes per week you are planning to do and are there certain release dates in mind?
I hope to continue releasing one per week on Saturday, or, if not, Sunday. New releases will take priority, and I'll obviously skip the ones I've already watched. :)
I love how you are humble!
I'm surprised that Rain Dish (Blastoise's Hidden Ability) wasn't taken into account, it was even pointed out in the Analysis, Blastoise would have been recovering more health while the Rain was up.
Also I think you should watch the TMNT: Battle Royale next.
you should watch Zelda vs Peach and TMNT battle royale
TMNT is the next one
POOR CHAZARD!!!! (Starts to cry)
Hey, Ris! Great video as usual! I see tons of potential!
Random Question: Will you do a Q&A video at one point?
I have done one Q&A already, but I'm thinking that I can do another one once (if) I reach 5k subscribers. That way, there will be more people with new questions :)
can you watch zitz vs leonardo
I watch every death battle before you do a let's watch video and after that I watch your let's watch video to see how you react
whats the next death battle
15:55
Charizard: Fire-
Blastoise: Hey, Buddy...
16:00
You look *thirsty*
Who's the guy in the next battle I did not know who that is
I love Pokémon too watch about 6 or 10 seasons of it and three Pokémon games for the 3DS
Dr strange: I saw 7,000 different outcomes.
Death battle: How many did vensauar win.
Dr strange: None
8:17 - 8:28, Ris Grestar just froze in the top left corner. Was that just me, or did everybody else see it, too?
a death battle would want them to make is travis touchdown (no more heroes )
v.s jake (mad world)
6:33 Huh...That's more than twice as hot as Charizard's fire breath.
This was such a funny/brutal episode
my first pokemon was squrtile and I absolutely love using him, but I mainly use charmander cause fire always has been my strong element.
What about, based upon Pokemon Go, they do Articuno (Mystic), Zapdos (Instinct) and Moltres (Valour)?
May someone plz tell me who that character is that is fighting next?
Boomstick always haves the best Theories xD
I loved that part. XD
13:23 What kind of candy is that?
Rare Candy
TheOtherWhiteNerd
What does it do?
Level Up a Pokemon. They had them eat it so that they'd reach max level almost instantly.
TheOtherWhiteNerd
Neat!
its rare candy,it basicly levels up pokemon SUPER FAST
This battle was epically Brutal, Like all battle royals, and Blastoise is my 3rd favorite Pokemon and i loved how he was eating Venusaur's flower at the end, anyway are you going to go by chronological now, I thought you would say this in this Video, if you are then next is Rogue vs Wonder Woman.
ps that is Fulgore, the psycho robot from Killer Instinct, though who he will be fighting is not yet confirmed.
I was probably planning to say so in this video, but yeah, I forgot. haha Yep, chronological definitely won the vote.
***** Do you have a schedule of when you uploads lets watch of death battle?
lylatfox4 Yep! I aim to upload them on Saturday, but if things need to be postponed, then I try for Sunday.
I really like your reactions! :)
A way charizard could win is charizard sleeps while blastoise is still awake and attacks venusaur. venusaur kills blastoise then charizard kills venusaur
As for venusaur blastoise kills charizard leaving venusaur and venusaur kills blastoise.
My fave-rout starter is Iver oshawott ore cyindaquill
Hey next up is Fulgore vs Sektor plan on watching that?
Yes I do!
***** I still haven't looked into them at all, so nope, no idea as of yet.
***** u should subscribe to screw attack so u keep up with them and maybe even put down who u want to see fight
Jay Joda lol Don't worry, I already have subscribed.
***** Well who u want 2 see do a death battle they take request
Hmmm... Why did they not let venasaur have petal dance
