As far as I know, these are the songs I know: *Aerials * Chop Suey * Toxicity * BYOB * Hypnotize * Lonely Day * Question--maybe. If I think of more, I'll add them here. :)
@@MusicCatsandCoffee oh ok I wasn’t sure thought maybe you could do video reactions but if you have seen them no point in doing it! There is a large SOAD catalog. Metro is a good song! Just a suggestion.
I think I know what you mean about some SOAD songs being "a lot." Here are a list of the "a lot" songs: Jet Pilot, Fuck the System, This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I'm on This Song, Violent Pornography, Old School Hollywood, Stealing Society, Vicinity of Obscenity, and She's Like Heroin. That may not be a complete list of the "...wha?" SOAD songs, but it's most of them...
One of their most underrated songs I'm glad you started out with this song instead of chop suey or the overplayed ones this song has a serious subject matter its fantastic
Well, that's nice. The whole CD was on repeat daily when they were hot. Very catchy, not that complicated sound, but most important the harmonies in the voices. It was (and still is) intriguing. Especially the album Hypnotize.
oh shit !!! How did I miss this?!??? jammed out to this album at work today , super nostalgic 🎶🥰 and hard for me to understand how byob is a lot to take in by this band...you've done far longer/more complicated song reactions than that one...
This is my favorite SOAD song because I love to sing along with my FAVORITE metal band of all time. It's all about the fourth turning and the repeated rise of authoritarianism.
My top ten favorite SOAD songs: 1-Holy Mountain 2-Mr. Jack 3-Deer Dance 4-Bubbles 5-Hypnotize 6-Know 7-Needles 8-Prison Song 9-Tenative 10-Highway Song
Hey Lauren, any chance you'll be doing any Faith No More, or Mr. Bungle in the future? Both phenomenal bands that are very, very, musically interesting.
One of their best tracks indeed. My favorite album of theirs is Steal this Album. It didn't get a lot of radio play and there are some amazing tunes on there.
Ha I remember a friend giving me a copy of steal this album in like 6th grade, love that guy for introducing me to them, I mean probably would've found them anyway but the sooner the better !!
I can make out about ten total words on every SOAD song. I just like the beats and rhythm. I actually looked up the lyrics on a couple of songs: “Suite-Pee” and “I-E-A-I-A-I-O”. Hmmmm. LOL
You’ll generally find obscure references to the 1915 Armenian genocide sprinkled through a lot of SOADs music; this and PLUCK are the exceptions - nothing obscure here…

Have you seen any of the videos for the songs you know?
Deer Dance!!
@ jlm10181978 Yep. all of those. :) I'm thinking I don't know Question after all. The video thumbnail doesn't look familiar at least.

Inervision, science, forest, and snow blind are pretty underrated songs by them. Mr. Jack is also a great song I think you'll like.
The song is about the Armenian genocide. SOAD are political activist and have more songs about this
Yep the Aras River which borders Armenia, Turkey, Iran, and Azerbaijan.
It's a shame that no one recommends songs from the first album. I would suggest my favorites soil, know, peephole, darts.
UPP
If it's too much, these are perfect, or maybe still one more: Marmalade
Check lost in hollywood, another song with awesome harmony
Ironically, there's a city in Turkey called Batman.
Can I just take a second to say how much I enjoy hanging out with you, listening to music?
The feeling is mutual. :)
@@MusicCatsandCoffee Any time you respond to a comment of mine, it feels like I'm being noticed by a celebrity haha.
Write me in also.

"Mind"
The best voice in the world!
Just listen to this long note: 8:38
To be fair that's not a single note it obviously has an acciaccatura
Yes ! Another great band, my top fav are Spiders, innervision , streamline....thank you !
Forest is my favorite SOAD song. You should hear it sometime ;-)
you gotta listen to spiders
I love your personal artistic take, as it all should be. :) you're the best Lauren! Never change :)
One of their most underrated songs I'm glad you started out with this song instead of chop suey or the overplayed ones this song has a serious subject matter its fantastic

YES i love this band, i hope you get to Jinjer
MORE SYSTEM!!!
When you realize they are all free because they died.
Sweet! System of a Down is another one of my favs. Check out "Atwa" when you get a chance

Going to go with "Cigaro" and "She's like heroin"
Science is a very nice one, and lost in hollywood as everybody said in the comments
You’ll generally find obscure references to the 1915 Armenian genocide sprinkled through a lot of SOADs music; this and PLUCK are the exceptions - nothing obscure here…
React to Daron's band Scars on Broadway
You might try listening to Sad Statue by SOAD since you loved more melodical Aerials.
You should do Lost in Hollywood
Poor thing, don’t be scared. But this song has the best vocals of all time right beside love hate love by AIC:)-
"Sugar" and "Spiders" are some of the big ones you haven't listed both off the first album. Sugar is more like byob and spiders is more like aerials.
Please do 'radio video' from system of a down
Do “Lost In Hollywood.”
You got to let the transitions play through with out stopping it in order to appreciate it;)-
Iaooaoaa lol, good song
More soad pls
more korn would be nice too
Armenian Genocide!!! SOAD proud of their roots
Nice reaction. I recommend the song A.T.W.A. If you haven't heard.
