I remember reciting this one aloud in high school. I still remember parts of it. So sad, yet so lovely.

I guess it is an indian accent, and I would say that the voice is full of good soul and spirit. I know people sometimes think the Indian accent sounds strange but I love it so much when it is spoken with a good spirit. I feel very comfortable, although my accent is a different one than this. This reading has been one of my most favorite things on UA-cam for years.

I think don't force that last rhyme, by making eternity sound like eternitay. The subtlety is lost. I appreciate the effort to enhance the poem with music but I'm wondering what music she might have heard. An ambient sound might be interesting.

Everything is but fodder for poetry.
That Emily got there greater than 100 years before us sometimes makes me ill.
    Sometimes this makes me celebrate

Watching Babylon 5 & got to episode DAY OF THE DEAD. Dodger appears to Garibaldi & mentions how all of these poems can be sung to YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS. Then there is this poem. Seems something of an Easter Egg dropped by J Michael Straczynski

This was awful. Missed words and for a foreigner to read the poem of a New Englander was just terrible. The cadence and meter were off and it sounded as though you were trying to be dramatic rather than poetic. I can’t get that two minutes back.
