I dont think Sergio fell off, the gap between him and Max had always been a couple tenths, in a situation where the Redbull is no longer in front by a huge margin those couple of tenths he loses to Max becomes more costly.
I think it's the same thing Albon said, when the grid is close and he was 2-3 tenths slower than max he'd be p-10 while max is second.
But on a shorter track he shouldn't be 3 tenths behind maybe 1.5-2

Man your videos from earlier this season declaring the season over and Red Bull constrictor champion has aged like milk... it goes to show there is a lot of racing to be done and declaring the sky has fallen after 4 races was a tad premature.

McLaren are going to split the strategy and wait for a safety car with Norris 100%. if Leclerc doesn't clear him very solidly in the first stink that could really get frosty
I think they have to use Lando as Sainz has already said his job in the race is to help Charles win. Lando needs to force Ferrari hand and at least get Sainz out the way. I think Lando start on softs, Oscar run as long as he can on mediums

@@SpukkZ More precisely, their DRS adjustable element opened a gap of over 85mm, which broke the rules. The rest of the rear wing was fine. Which means, Perez starts 16th!

The 24hr of nurburgring showed us that the max of old is still in there with how he tried to go for tiny gaps multiple times during the race. If max decides to go elbows out and try to overtake everyone for the win, it's going to be a very entertaining race.

You say u don’t know how it was that close in q1 but u have to remember monaco is by far the shortest track on the calendar and is less than half the length of spa for example so 4 tenths at monaco is like nearly a second at spa

Both Haas are starting from the back after being DQ'd from quali.
Everyone was happy with this one
Perez was only 3 tenths off of MV. As bad as the performance looks, there is a very limited number of drivers that can even come close to MV in quali pace in the same car. All the DTS F1 fans just say “Replace Perez” every week like RB has MV 2.0 just waiting around in the paddock.
How is Ferrari going to break our hearts this time? We know it's gonna happen as soon as we have some hope, so i'm gonna predict that Ferrari makes a terrible strategy call, just to get back to their roots, and it will cost Leclerc a victory
One thing to note is that sergio did spend fp2 experimenting with setups, which I'm sure threw him off. Obviously not a full excuse, but a factor to consider.
Sauber not starting last the haas team will be both Haas cars got disqualified from there rear wing.
I'm interested in seeing how long the drivers will stay out for. Hopefully the top 5 can do something like Lando did in Miami or Imola, save up the tires and push later on.

I am actually a brummie, but I live in Weston Super Mare. I will be going back to Birmingham today, but as soon as I heard the other day about F1 arcade and Matt and Tommy being there, yes I was excited but I was also a little bit upset as it's too short notice. I would have loved to meet Matt and Tommy today and talk to them. I hope the opportunity comes up again soon!
