Outlander is hands down my absolute favorite show, that I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching, and just my favorite story of all time. My husband and I are Scotland bound this August, and it’s all thanks to this show. Enjoy! ☺️

The first 3 or 4 episodes can seem slow but be ready for the next ones.
If it gets more intense compared to the second episode that I am editing in a day or two. Then I'm in for a roll coaster of emotions from happy to shock. Ahaha.

Omggg finally I found someone reacting to Outlander. Truly such a smart and beautiful show/book. I read the first four books and they are so cool. The author of the books has a bachelor of science in zoology, a masters degree of science in marine biology, and a PhD in behavioral ecology, so research was her thing. She did a lot of amazing research for her books, resulting in lots of little details that we would not even think about in regards to life in the 18th century. It is not only a romance, but about people. Morals, family, dilemmas, love. And time travel! There is much that can be taken from this story, not just sex like some people like to say. I love all your insight into the first episode. So glad you are watching it! Just subscribed :) I would also like to recommend the show DARK on Netflix. SO amazing. Can't wait to watch your journey!

This is such a great show! I hope you stick with it... I agree with another comment that the first few episodes are slower, a bit of set up, but it's truly worth the ride.
I definitely plan to stick with it. The second episode comes out Friday.

The language they are speaking is Gaelic. Scotland has three languages: Gaelic. Scots and English.
Scottish Gaelic has it's home in the highland and is related to Irish Gaelic across the water, but they are different languages and not mutually intellegeble. Scots is more widespread and is closely related to English.

This show portays a lot of true events and true history ! so most of the things you hear about is actually true ! apart from the time traveling ofc !

This is so negative! There is nothing wrong with watching a show that has themes/topics someone is not usually inclined to watch. Being open to new experiences and perspectives is a virtue. He also has a UA-cam channel, and being open to things is important when building an audience. Personally, I am excited to watch his Outlander journey! :)
