I’m really glad you’re reacting to this. I read the first book when I was 14, and I remember my excitement when the second came out. It’s great historical fiction mixed with fantasy and more than a dash of harlequin romance. Fantastic.
Wow really! I didnt know about the show or books so ill let myself be surprised as much as i can 🙂 i m not really someone fot the harlequin romance but the scenery etc does a lotta good 🙂
@@AlphaWolfReacts I'm not either, but it's so tastefully done. The author is a PhD, and she's really done her research into the history throughout all of her books, not just fact-wise but in capturing what it was really like to live in this time and place, the society, etc.
I had some beautiful dishware of my mother's that I wanted to display in a new home.. but I wanted that special home that had a special place for them.. that's why the vase is important..
