That’s a trading down from ASIN steel. I believe the subject was even covered in IH8 Mud. They’re not stronger just your pocket is lighter and you got bling bling now. Warn Hub FUSES didn’t work either.. Japanese 😘 is the best. American, anything, is junk.
Go to junk yard find Toyota IFS stubby diff: Remove the long tube side and swap it. T100’s had a longer shaft so if you can even find one it should work. Japanese steel is much higher quality than the pot metal we get here so old Yotas have probably met with the shedder by now. US anything is yew trash. You just keep spending money stay flat broke or in debt to your eyeballs that’s all they want you for here. Don’t maintain an old car truck by any means even an old Toyota. Go get a loan and stay in debt. The car market will eventually cool down lol I’m sorry can’t keep a straight face I even made myself laugh. You me and we are a joke. Forget this old carp just put something new on the card like the rest of us.
I have a 2013 Toyota fortuner automatic which is a full time 4wd and no 2h. Which is costing me lots of fuel. So by installing locking hubs can make it to rear wheel drive? And to 4wd when needed?
Hey great video. I’m currently trying to install these on my 94 runner and the splines on the manual hub don’t seem to want to go on the axle splines. Any idea why?
An ADD IFS diff is different than a manual lock truck. The Tacomas were Reverse Rotation. Downey OR is gone ;( Man-a-Fre… It’s a collar that slides over in the diff I believe on the long tube side. If you’ve got an old Chevy and like 2 Low, have a look at Posi Lock cable lock system. Toyota add trucks have drive flanges (a permanent locked “hub”, and the half shafts rotate all the way to the diff when underway. Manual lockers take it loose from the end you need. It’s only minor drag. Toyota and their machining is the best there is. Made in Japan Toyotas are the best. Google “chicken tax” to find out why we in the U$ don’t get the sweet Diesel stuff. Eww gross yucky a GM Diesel made in the 80’s is why nobody wants a Diesel! …yeah right. Enjoying the decline :)
Bro, thanks for making this fully understandable!!!
Happy to help!
New rims and tires looking, good.
Just bought a 93 4Runner a few days ago, after looking for over 2 years. I don't think it's been off road. Will be doing this.

Thanks for sharing. Will install one with the same brand for my Pajero FM Gen 2.
Right on!
Have you ever used warren locking hubs?

Maybe
The link you supplied for the hubs, do they come in pairs or individual?
Each. You need two!!!
When I try to remove 12mm axle bolt my cv axle spins. Am I missing something obvious?
Use a impact drill

Did you get the correct ones? There two type. One spine is for ifs and they have another version for solid axle
Are the mounting holes tapered for the cone washers? These are made in Japan right? On a FB forum people are saying no taper and made in China.
Yes
@@NuttyNu so no taper?
They are taper for cone washer
@@NuttyNu thanks
You ‘da man Nut!
Thank you
This save gas?🤔
Yes
Most modern trucks have auto locking hubs.
It's the 4x4 button.
Where are people getting the cone washers? 6-7 bucks a piece x 12 is kinda outrageous.
I save them when I gut out rigs. Check your junk yard ??
Nu I had a front brake caliper stick on me. Uh oh maintenance. I poured water on it. Hot as the the thing.
New brake calipers and pad, maybe get new rotors too
