In this episode I do a review of the TIPINOVA double tent by OneTigris. This is a great light weight shelter to be used for backpacking, wild camping or bushcraft. I hope you enjoy the video, don't forget to Subscribe, Like and Share.

great informative review, thanks for sharing
yeah but you can make a tipi that big or even bigger folding a square tarp correctly
Yeah you can, it’s a lot of work to get it right but it can be done. Thanks for the comment 🙏
That's a pretty descent set up. I think they changed the name because Black Orca sounds cooler than One Tigris, lol
Lol
Really nice setup and great review! I was looking at this tent online it is priced very reasonably too. I can definitely see how the tripod setup would be a good way to go! Thanks Kenny!
Thanks Chris! I’m going to try to bring a bunch of these shelters to demo at the meet-up.
@@UglyTent That will be cool! I think everyone will enjoy the demos.
I really like the tent! WOW so light. I need one of those... want to try it out. I like the tripod setup the best.
Thanks Tammy! Yeah I like the tripod best too.
I'm 6'6 will I fit in it? I really really want one but mate I don't think I will you know. Thanks for sharing.
Honestly probably not. Maybe if you lay at an angle, but again probably not.
Great video. When I hunt/fish or just bushwack, I only carry a 10' x 10' tarp as it's about 1 1/2 lbs. Usually I don't pack my Eureka dome tent as it's near10 lbs. The problem with a tarp shelter now are the mosquitos and ticks if you have to have a nap or so. This looks perfect and I'll try to get one just for day outings. The grandkids would love it also. Many thanks. Cheers.
Thank you my friend! Yeah I like the bug protection in the warmer months. That’s probably why I like the colder weather.
Cheers!
Howdy! Great video and review. Looks like a great piece of kit. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed day
Thank you my friends, stay blessed!
How does this tent do in the rain. I already have 1 tent that sucks in the rain, I don’t need another. This looks like the perfect setup for just me
It does ok for an ultra light shelter, but it’s not the same as a good sturdy tent. Nothing beats my Eureka!
that's a suh-weet tent, it lend itself to stealth camping. is the color Earth brown or olive drab? thanks for sharing.
That color is coyote brown. As always thanks for watching!
Very cool. I like it. I will have to look into that. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks buddy!
I wonder: this is the only video or picture where the mesh around the bottom is covered with that velcro-flap. Also in the specifications always only the outside flaps are mentioned. Are there two different versions, and if yes, how can I be sure I get the version with these velcro-flaps (product-ID or such)? These seem very useful, if not necessary, against cold draughts as well as humidity coming from the ground up.
Great video buddy
I'm getting me one
great video, nice shelter, on a different note, where did you get the neck sharpening stone i saw in your last video. thanks, love you videos.
Thanks buddy, the whetstone is from Wazoo Survival Gear! Tell them UglyTent sent ya.
Atb, Kenny
I love the easy setup! I may look into getting one. Hoping to meet some of you guys at Fishpond this Spring. I guess I'm more of a "Instagramer" than UA-camr, but I follow a few of you on both.
Cool! I look forward to meeting you as well. I’ll look you up on Instagram too.
@@UglyTent Appreciate it!
I have this and posted some issues about it on other videos. Overall it's a good tent but I still prefer others I have. Noticed an answer to Pudge's comment... "Nothing beats my Eureka!" Which model?
The Eureka Solo DownRange. It is a stout little tent!
@@UglyTent Agreed! I had that model, sold it. The Eureka TCOP is a great military shelter but heavy. My FAV and go to now is the Eureka Mountain pass 1 ... no longer made. I think Eureka gave the tent body design to the Military side and just never re-made it after that.
Cool! That’s good information. Thanks
Nice vídeo!!! 👍👍👍
Thank you 🙏
i like it,nice tent
I like this one. I too don't want the pole obstruction for several reasons.
Yeah I like it better without the center pole.
Considering one for kayak camping.....thanks for the video
Thanks Kenny for making this video!!!
My pleasure, I love the product!
seems like a decent tent
Yes, the more I use it the more I like it.
Thanks for sharing !
I've heard about these 'ounces' things, they used to use them back when bushels and chaldrons were in use. Very quaint. Now, what does it weigh in a 20th century mearing system?
