    Hello everyone, I am Casayun.
    Today, I will be sharing how to make ULTRA Moist and Fragrant Orange Pound cake.
    This Orange pound cake has a wonderful texture and full of flavour.
    There are many pound cake recipes out there,
    but I can bet this pound cake is the moistest pound cake ever !
    It's so soft and moist that you don't need any drink together.

    Moist Orange Pound Cake
    22 x 8 x 7 cm in height
    Eggs 2
    Sugar 150g (3/4 cup)
    Cooking oil 150g (3/4 cup)
    Orange juice 200g (7/8 cup)
    Orange zest 1Tbsp (from 1 large orange)
    All purpose flour 250g (2 cups)
    Baking powder 1Tbsp
    - Orange syrup
    Fresh Orange juice 120g (1 cup)
    Sugar 30g (2 Tbsp)
    - Glaze
    Powdered sugar 60g (1/2 cup)
    Fresh orange juice 2 Tbsp
    📝 Orange juice used for batter is from grocery (pure 100% orange juice). / Orange juice used for Orange syrup and Glaze is from freshly squeezed orange juice (1 large orange).
    Prepare Before ✓
    * Preheat the oven to 170℃ (338℉).
    * Squeeze and zest a 1 large orange.
    * Grease the pan with butter and line with parchment paper, for easy removal.
    1. Put the eggs in a clean bowl and beat them lightly. Add sugar and cooking oil and mix. (about 1-2 minutes until fluffy)
    2. Add orange juice and orange zest into the batter. Add all purpose flour and baking powder. Mix to combine all ingredients.
    3. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 40 minutes in an oven preheated to 170℃ (338℉).
    4. Prepare Orange syrup and Glaze to make the cake more moist. Bring fresh orange juice from a one large orange. Take 2 Tbsp of orange juice and put it in a bowl of powdered sugar. Mix well and the glaze is prepared. Add 2 Tbsp of sugar to the rest of the orange juice and microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Mix well to dissolve the sugar and the orange syrup is prepared.
    5. Pour all orange syrup evenly over the baked orange pound cake. Allow to cool completely at room temperature for 1-2 hours, then remove from the pan. Top with glaze.
    - How to store
    It can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days at room temperature. In the refrigerator for 1 week.

    After testing more than 3 recipes for orange cake or orange pound cake this was my TOP choice and definitely favorite one. This recipe is super easy, what I like about it the most is that you can actually taste the orange flavor! Incredibly moist, rich texture, 100% recommended 😋

    I went through the comments and you have replied to everyone. So surprising because all channels never answer, we watch their videos be it for hair, skin and there are so many things which we want to clarify but they are never answered.     I tried this recipe, and added a tiny pinch of saffron and a cardamon pod to the syrup. The cake was phenomenal!

    I made this and it turned out so good and the instructions were easy to follow. I did not make the syrup and the glaze because for me the cake was already adequately moist and sweet.
    I made some changes to the recipe by adding a bit of vanilla and about ¼ tea spoon salt.

    Tried and tested ! So delicious. It was gone the 2nd day 🤣🤣 but my oven us different i had to make the temperature higher to bake it fully. But other than that. It was delicious. It wasnt too sweet

      Hello there, I use sunflower oils for this recipe and of course you can replace it by using melted unsalted butter. But make sure to add it when it's at room temperature. Thanks for watching! 🤗

    The recipe is great. Can I avoid the glaze part in the end as I'm not suppose to consume much sugar. Will that make more difference in the outcome of taste?

    is the pan size correct? I always measure ingredients by weight but this pan was too small. cake well over grew. are you sure isn't 20X11X6? I did save it though by transferring it to a bigger pan in order to soak the orange juice.

      Hi, Thanks for watching ☺️ Here is recipe with measurements in cups.
      Eggs 2
      Sugar 3/4 cup
      Cooking oil 3/4 cup
      Orange juice 7/8 cup
      Orange zest 1 Tbsp (from 1 large orange)
      All purpose flour 2 cups
      Baking powder 1 Tbsp
      - Orange syrup
      Fresh Orange juice 1 cup
      Sugar 2 Tbsp
      - Glaze
      Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
      Fresh orange juice 2 Tbsp

    Thank you for your recipe. I already tried to rebake yesterday and result is so amazing. Sweet and sour are perfect taste. I just made a bit changes as I had only 2 oranges so I substituted with lemon for glaze and syrop and best result. So moist :)

    I searched for this recipe online because my mom made it but every other video never included the orange juice at the end. I remember when Mom poured it over the bread and I thought it was some sort of mistake and would make it soggy but after resting for a few hours it was perfectly fine and delicious.       Hello, the orange juice that I used for batter is from grocery and for orange syrup and glazed, I used freshly squeezed orange (1 big orange). Since this recipe is required to use orange zest from 1 big orange, I only used 1 orange and rest of juice I used bought one. 😊

    I am definitely going to try this recipe but want to make sure I got the ingredients right in cups, you have 7/8 cup of orange juice for the batter and 1 cup for the syrup but in grams you have 200 gr for the batter and 120 gr for the syrup. Would you clarify. Thank you

    I have a question, can I use butter equivalent to 150 grams and should I melt the same or use it as it is. Hope you will respond as I want to make this delicious cake, it is more of a dessert, soft and fluffy, vow simply super duper

    Just made this and the batter was enough to make two of 390gm loafs. I decreased the sugar quantity in the cake to balance the sugar in the syrup and glazing and it turned out just perfect. So moist, just the right amount of sweetness and orangey 😍

    Yes cake is very moist n flavorful but i feel its a bit oily- can I reduce the 150g oil?

    Was this using a convection oven? If so then the temperature needs tobe 180 for regular ovens.

    hi, how to avoid the crack on top of the cake? can we avoid it? apart from that, this cake is divine. i've tried it for few times now.
