Engine choice wise, there were: 1.8 16v NA 2.0 16v NA 2.0 16v Turbo 2.0 20v NA 2.0 20v Turbo 2.0 20v VIS 20v (1996-) cars have 3rd rear brake light I have a 20v Turbo I bought waay back in 2004 👍🏻
Proud owner of a 20VT+ Fiat Coupe. Quite the following here in Malaysia. When they came out they were famously knowned for being as powerful as a Ferrari so I've heard.
Great to see such an incredible car in USA. Looks the same as mine back in the days. Very good quality made car, never gave me up. Greetings from Bulgaria!
Maintenance...high quality oil engine, wait till the engine reaches the right temperature and avoid spinning the wheels when starting in 1st gear. As an owner of a 20V turbo limited edition for 17 years, I think that in this way the Coupe' won't create major problems.
The Square Oil cap is so cool, the 20VT models dont have them, i do love all the fiat coupes i purchased a 20vt sprint blue, my first restoration project haha alot of rust aha, but will be worth it. Great vid man!
Check out Fiat Coupe Club UK, FCCUK, for support. There can be a lot of negative press about the coupe, but that's not my experience. I'm on my second at the moment. Best wishes. Paul
Hey man I love this car. I am interested in the 1.8 version . I can find it pretty cheap around 3000€ but is it cheap to own one? I really want to buy it but not regret it in the long term . Due to lack of parts or potential problems. Also I'm not sure about the fuel consumption. Sadly my budget is limited. Would you suggest that car??
@@vasilisvks1448 hello. Remember this that the cars are all 20 years or so old. Look for a service history, carry out a thorough inspection, looking for rust. Unless you are experienced as a mechanic, seek out a garage with knowledge of the car. My 2.0 NA 20 v gets around 30 mpg. It is Italian, so do expect some electrical gremlins. It is not a brand new Lexus, so do not expect perfection. Have fun 😀
This Austin-Healy 100 may be just as rare as this Fiat Coupe. ua-cam.com/video/3ewnLI_MQJ8/v-deo.html

Wow! Most will know it from Top Gear but I remember these back when I lived in Europe. So cool to see one of these here in the states.

I had the Alfa GTV that was based on the same chassis, I guess those weren´t sold in the states either?
