Nice find! I wouldn't cut it up!!!! Its too nice and these cars are getting more scarce and valuable...... In my opinion the 69 charger is the most bad ass car of all time!!!!!!
Four minutes into the video. But I had to pause it just to say: Your taste in music is as good as your taste for cool cars! Always happy to see your stuff. Keep the good things coming!
Thank God for guys like you to rebuild these old chargers because this old one looks like a heap of shitt to me but looks like gold to you, everyone’s view is different, I’m glad you have the eye,, skill,,,, and the money to rebuild these Bad ass MOPAR‘s
Dan and what makes it worse is that Warner Brothers ordered them all crushed except the ones given to Tom wopat and John Schneider at the end of the run
Love to see all those Chargers!! And good to see one that most people would write off having another chance!!! Im hopin to be doing the same soon!!! Ive had 5 68 Chargers, and need at least one more (to keep forever) before I die!!!
Very true about the Mexico interstates being rough. I traveled I-40 East Bound last spring in a 26' Penske truck and it kicked my A$$. Cool video, especially at the very end.
In my dream world of winning the lottery and finding three Chargers, I’d have one of each of the following: 1. an original Hemi 4 speed in dark blue, black interior, red line tires, dog dish hubcaps. 2. Convert a low end 318 automatic out of the junk yard or barn find into a proper detailed General Lee replica with 440 and 4 speed. 3. Convert another low end 318 automatic that was in bad shape into a restomod that would probably be my everyday driver. Modern Hellcat Hemi, 6 speed Tremec, coil overs/4 wheel independent suspension, Willwoods on all 4, and modern conveniences including climate control, power windows and locks, cruise control, and leather.
The body on the charger looks amazing all the panels that you have to replace normally is in good shape I would be excited to find a car in that condition
My dream car: 1969 1/2 Dodge Charger RT426 hemi. I had a 69 Charger when I was 18 but it only had a 383. Still, me and that car put a lot of miles drivin around those country roads back in Ohio. Man, it was a girl magnet. And that thing would flat out haul ass.
Awesome find bird song I want one for my 440 sixpack or a half ton Short bed paint for car would be indigo blue truck be candy apple red hammer down and keep it rubber side down for feed them onions as some fellers would say but again nice find my favorite year of the charger would love to see you build this one Chris 426 4 speed or tremic 6 speed bwith super charger all the hood
Reminded me of picking up the 73 SE charger I saved from a guy that parted cars for the money. It didn't even have a k member in it to put tires on loading that was fun as well, but also worth saving originally a 400big block car with a floor shifter red car with white vinal top and white interior. Slowly picking at it got a disc brake k member set up for it and a column so at least it's a roller now keep saving the good ones bro!!!
What do you think was the best engine the Hemi or the 440 for these? Also, what must I consider if I want a more powerful engine like a recent Dodge Hemi upgrade as far as brakes , axels, and transmissions? I don't mind cutting into the floor to add more power to a car.
Your somewhere between one fourth to one third my age ( I wouldn't wish my age 71 friday, on anyone) and you ciphered that car better than I could doing it for years. Your going to be a force to reckon with when you are my ungodly age. I've tagged those front ends before and in one piece the transplant is much easier to get in alignment or make square again. I did a fairly new one from factory who had an employee who took a long lunch break. I remember that one well cause it ate my lunch till I checked the square on it then it was mine. It was out from factory with wheel squeal an all a full quarter inch by even the Britt's tape measure!! Wiped tires till I cut/drilled with spot weld drill bit just for that which makes the job. I know a lot of people who would love to trade places on their own remand on that car... floors could be waxed when clean again. Speaks high for where ever it was stored. Drop us a line on this one every chance you have. Cold war motors up in canada would love this car.
I'm looking to get a shell rolling chassis of a 69 Charger. I am curious how much did you pay and how much should you pay. Any tips I can get I greatly appreciate.
The body is pretty good the floors are awesome good score great car my first car was a b 5 blue white interior and white vinyl it was mint that was about 1980 I loves that car was a 383 car but beautifull yehnthat must have been a emu the shit great car
Awesome ! I love his Chargers, but the 71 Cuda is the End All Be All to me. My friend has a 340 4 speed 71 Cuda convertible that he says he will sell me.
Always glad to see you beinging another back from the dead. Would love to see you do a wing car. You gotta know where a rotter is at, waiting to be saved...
i love all mopars,an would never have any other brand, but i like cuda,s like a 71 the best and old swingers,an scamps etc, the duke boys nearly burnt me out on 69 models though...
My dream since i was a little boy watching the dukes of hazard in the early 80's was to own a 1969 dodge charger general Lee but my reality i know i will never have one cannot and never will afford one i am almost 50yrs old but i do get to drive one in my dream every now and then lol.
Nice car and great vids Chis, I'm glad your finding them and saving them. I've got a quick question and I'm hoping you could answer it. Do you have the measurements for the rocker chrome clips? I'm adding the chrome to my 70 charger and I can't find any info whatsoever. Thanks.
That would be considered junk to a poor man but mint to a builder with some spending money and time. Great find. Hey how much for the green satellite sebring? or do you know of one for sale?
Cool to watch your videos, I used to live in Cooperstown and bought a 70 duster 340 from mike,I'm in Oregon now and would like another 68-70 charger, I got a restored nice 69 d200 383 auto, looking to trade for a project if you got one
Man, I LOVE your enthusiasm! I give you WAYYYY more respect in your approach to this style of rebuilding MOPARS over Graveyard Cars.
Very very nice episode!!!
Good explanation about what is it a good wrecked project.
Thanks Chris.
Nice find! I wouldn't cut it up!!!! Its too nice and these cars are getting more scarce and valuable......

WHY is it such a Bad *ss car? He drove lots of hours for a shell of a Junker! 8/01/19 9.16 am cst USA TRUMP 2020
Sunny Ray i think it would be worth it especially since you can get lots of parts for them.
You are the most optimistic person I have ever seen when comes to, ________you fill in the blank!
I AM GLAD YOU ARE SAVING CHARGERS.....I JUST WISH THERE WHERE MORE LIKE YOU...WISH YOU DID CHALLENGERS AND CUDAS....BUT YOUR JUST ONE MAN...
Always nice to see one of these classic Chargers being saved from the scrap heap or the crusher. Respect to you bro.
Four minutes into the video. But I had to pause it just to say: Your taste in music is as good as your taste for cool cars! Always happy to see your stuff. Keep the good things coming!
I wish I had the ability like you and a place to work on these projects. There is a lot of satisfaction when they come together.
Thank God for guys like you to rebuild these old chargers because this old one looks like a heap of shitt to me but looks like gold to you, everyone’s view is different, I’m glad you have the eye,, skill,,,, and the money to rebuild these Bad ass MOPAR‘s
Man , Chris,Buddy "we are starving for this conetent" please keep
Posting your charger adventures ,what ever they are , love it Man !!
it's amazing what this guy can do,he really knows about chargers
I think you're saving almost as many chargers as dukes of hazard destroyed...lol
But now we have that awesome orange charger that we all love
309 Chargers were destroyed during the series.
5 cars per episode.
Dan and what makes it worse is that Warner Brothers ordered them all crushed except the ones given to Tom wopat and John Schneider at the end of the run

Great music! Outstanding scenery.
Great Video my friend! Love seeing new and old projects!
The easiest part of this project will be the unloading from the trailer. Good to see you on-line Chris, been missing your videos.
I love watching your road trip videos, another Charger saved
Very true about the Mexico interstates being rough. I traveled I-40 East Bound last spring in a 26' Penske truck and it kicked my A$$. Cool video, especially at the very end.
That is a whole different concept of «easy».. Very interesting to learn so much from just a shell!
I couldn't believe how solid the floors are and it's stripped so you don't even have to take it apart
I love chargers. If i lived closer would come and hang out lol.
I envy your knowledge and talent with these cars. Amazed at watching the loading up of this body, wondered how that could be done .
Awesome find. Glad she's being saved
I have the same problem, buying too many project cars and bouncing back and forth when I should be finishing the first one...lol

Hi Chris..on the road again!!
The weather looks nice compared to everywhere else lol 😎
Awesome start to a good time. thanks from Sean in Vermont
It's not a piece of shit it's a piece of HISTORY and would love that on my back lawn back here in NZ ☺

I'm loving this channel. If you are into Mopars, this is definitely a go to place. I look forward to your next post dude.
That really is nice country, from over here in Australia. It looks a lot like some of our drier areas. Best of luck with the car.
I feel your excitement over this. Would love to see it in yellow and black vinyl, and maybe manual trans. Cheers.
What did you think was going to happen when you winched it forward while the Jacks were under it?
We have crappy roads here in New Mexico. No rot thanks to our arid climate. Nice Charger, dude.
Hey man thank you for the video I enjoyed it
Them floor pans are amazing
Ive never owned a charger but i get giddy over em too
Solid car, easy to get that one sorted. Nice one!
How do you deal with title issues on these rollers? I want that 71' roadrunner, that's my favorite year.
some states only need a bill of sale for cars older than like 1980 to get registered.
In Georgia you can drive a rock if you have a bill of sale and insurance.
Still think you should get that one that you found buried in the desert a couple years back. What crazy content that would be.
Did the bumps help get rid off the Turkey nest and crap?
In california, you spoke of the salvage yard. Where is it located?
I had a green and cream one of these when I was in the Navy with a 318 4-barrel.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Probably a white hat special, or a spring special. I had a 69 satellite equipt very similar.mine was yellow with black vinyl top.

I wouldn't mind having one of the Road Runners.
