You must have the most forgiving neighbors in the world. Last time I tried to work on a car in Vegas we had to put it into a guys garage and close the door so the neighbors wouldn't report him to the enforcement officials. Awesome work, I am subscribed.
Dear sir, I watch your channel where you do all the cool stuff, specifically so I don't have to do it myself. I figured it out years ago that my eyes are bigger than my talent and budget, which is why I have a very broken Talbot Tagora SX in my garage whilst my Toyota lives in the street ! Thank you for your fantastic content ! ! !
Wow, after watching this, I have say; “I wish you lived in my neighborhood!” Very interesting cobbled together video. Really everything you did was very logical. Like you say, “why fix it when you can make it better”.
love the fact you just bottomed out the rocker and drove it a 1,000 miles at what appears to be 3 grand the whole way. i wouldn't have made it to the highway before smoking the cam ( my luck) but you just send it. Love it man, thanks for the video
I don't think I'm the first one to say hell ya brother for getting on roadkill, Im always stoked to see your vids, and as always you got one of these 👍
watching this video learning some stuff but mostly enjoyed seeing this part of Tucson again. I lived there for 20 years and spent some time there with lots of friends out there.
Awesome man 👍🏾👍🏾🤙🏼 looking forward to seeing Smurf done , but also all the other projects you are doing 👍🏾👍🤙🏼 lol you got heaps to do hopefully you can get lemanator going as well one day 👍🤙🏼
Hey Chris thank you for the video I enjoyed it and I tell you man you got a passion for working on vehicles you really should open up your own shop and trust me with the passion that you have you will make it because you do a good job I can see it through your videos
This comment is not geared toward any type of sexual innuendo what so ever. Chris, I have a "man crush" on you, dude. I say that because of the cars you have, the things you do with those cars, the way you live your life and how much of a free spirit you are. To me, those are some of the greatest qualities to have. Doing what and how you do it is living THE American dream and the American way of being. Keep on keeping on that way, man. As always, I am looking forward to your next video entry. Keep that patina side up :) Cheers to you! Eric from Northern, Utah.
Hey Chris,,, Ground by the steering shaft, when welding, that way your not passing current thru the bearings, creating rough spots, I've seen this on repairs , so the bearings don't see the current
I notice you ceramic coat aluminum heads. Can you do the same to the steel 906? I'm interested in doing the same. I'm local las vegas who would do it around here.
Lol I’m a Chevy guy I guess because that’s all I have , but I do like certain cars from every manufacturer also can you run that new battery everyday I never new about that kind of car battery
You must have the best neighbours?? I live in the country, on a few hundred acres, and got told off for paddock bashing a 4 cylinder kia! Making to much noise smashing it into bamboo (trees would of hurt) ... my sons and I were having the best time trying to kill the kia!! When we got notice to stop, or be prosecuted ffs! Just not allowed to have any fun these days! I want your neighbourhood.. oh and I wish we had Mopar chargers here in Australia (we may have?? But I've never seen one).. The Dukes of Hazzard, was my favorite show growing up! Keep up the great work! Absolutely love watching your videos.. I've been following quite a few of you guys over there.. I'm not a fan of the Trump! Or your screwed up trigger happy police, you guys, have to deal with, but the V8 fun you guys have that's almost worth while putting up with the crazy fruitloop pigs and dumb arse president! At least you can drive what ever you like on the road..
One more question on the oil pan Chris, my 440 has the Maltese cross and an X which means it has the 0.010 undersized crankshaft is the Hemi oil pan and pick up compatible with that?
what headers are you running on smurf? I'm looking to get away from the stock manifolds on my 440 and those look like they offer a fair amount of clearance.
If you would have listened to me before and put a quart of Rislone in it, you wouldn't have any sticky lifters, my father used it I've used it we've never had a blown motor ,you will notice within 5 minutes how much better your motor will purr and run without the sticky varnish that naturally builds up in it

Ah, fresh content - from half a year ago! :-)
Thanks from Australia. I enjoy all your clips. Thanks for the work and shared ideas. Regards Jules
I have to admit...your music is like being at work. I run a Pep Boys Speedshop and ALL of these songs are on repeat for 10 hours a day.....
Smurf sure does have a healthy and happy sounding engine!! I'd like to see what it looks like with those new wheels and tires you got.
Agreed!
Sure does
I don't think I'm the first one to say hell ya brother for getting on roadkill, Im always stoked to see your vids, and as always you got one of these 👍

I like playing deep purple highway star when I get on the highway in a 1968 charger 440 rock on Chris
Our local rock station ( Q104 in Halifax. Nova Scotia..) uses that song to introduce the traffic report.👍!
Thanks for the footage, it was a good video! You have a lot of cool projects going on, I look forward to seeing more!
I had those flower American mags on my 69 yellow charger back in the early 70s
that was a cool and informative video you got a start of a great sounding 69 charger looking forward to more videos
Man, you’re really upping the editing of your videos
Thanks, enjoyed the video as always! If it's Mopar it's gotta be good! Keep it up, Chris!

It's great when everything bolts together and just works the way it's supposed to, not, never happens
My wife would kill me when she came home to her orange painted front steps. Your're crazy man.
Smurf is sounding great, any problems with and front fenders.
Mine don't line up very well

Hey what is up with the Purple Challenger that was parked out front? Yours or a customers?
12:13 Glad, I’m not the only one that starts a project that turns into a can of worms!
Great video.
How did you like that radio, i need something like that for my barracuda
looks like you installed the radio upside down the display is all upside down LOL!!!
Hey Chris! You going to Duct Tape Drags!?
isn't a fiber glass trunk floor an option? molded after original, box the frame and glue the floor...
I’M FAMOUS! I’m in a Junkerup video for 0.2 seconds!
Wish I had video of you 😉
Junkerup #chris birdsong there’s always next time!
How did the lifters hold up for you there Chrisso? Was sounding pretty noisy at the end there.
I notice you ceramic coat aluminum heads. Can you do the same to the steel 906? I'm interested in doing the same. I'm local las vegas who would do it around here.
Why do i not hear finnegans name mentioned anymore
Is he not employed by hot rod anymore ?
Lol I’m a Chevy guy I guess because that’s all I have , but I do like certain cars from every manufacturer also can you run that new battery everyday I never new about that kind of car battery
Have you thought about getting your own shop/building to work out of
Great job as usual
Very Sweet
You powder coated your tires???😊

What gears do you run in Smurf? And do you like them?
Good how-to video :D
, a quart of Rislone would have brought those lifters back
I take it that's not your first tig weld?....showoff.😁
Gotta love the smurf !!!!
Love the content
My transmission broke today
Thanks Dodge
One more question on the oil pan Chris, my 440 has the Maltese cross and an X which means it has the 0.010 undersized crankshaft is the Hemi oil pan and pick up compatible with that?
I don't see how the crank being undersized would have any realation with the oil pan. It would make no difference.
Did you put the faceplate on upside down?
what headers are you running on smurf? I'm looking to get away from the stock manifolds on my 440 and those look like they offer a fair amount of clearance.
Those look like Hooker Headers
When you put the Hemi oil pan on Smurf, did you have to change the dipstick as well to get a correct oil level reading?
No
With it being a deeper oil pan it does not need a different stick the level is still the same the pan is only deeper.
"U rock chris
Man i had a 402 pan on my duster and would slosh bad! Lost oil pressure at the end of the track or hard launch.
Amazin show !
32.27 It's Christine :o great build :D
nope its a 59 :P
@@messylaura always learning something new, thanks
Who the hell bondos oil pans that’s a first you took the words right out of my mouth
Yummy welds
Is the radio upside down?
Sick intro
you should post the 3:18 driving clip as a standalone or looped and viewers can just open music in a separate tab for the full experience
A nice rack setup would probably work out nice.
Enjoyed

There is a cheap lifter removing tool available to remove lifters without pulling the intake!
For use on BBD.
FIRST! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS MAN KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!🔥🤟
you stay in vegas ?
I wanna see a top speed run on smurf
Radio display upside down?
It was
Love the video but .you spent 5 days fixing it .then you didnt even run down the track .WHY?
Cuz if it broke I couldn’t afford to have it shipped home at the time
I was not thinking that makes since .i do love your videos though .i learn so much .thanks .
for what its worth i used white PU panel bonding to paint my white tire letters, that was on a set of cheap ass firestones
Did you install the radio upside down?
Meatloaf
If I had invested in bitcoin 10 years ago I’d be living this life now lol
I had just got laid off when it was at a dollar a coin and was going to buy 500 dollars worth and talked myself out of it 😖
79huddy I decided not to do it too. Just because I was too lazy to set up an account
I’ve been looking for a 69 r/t charger in this type of condition, where do you get your mopars?
You have to have money on the spot! not just hear say
Jet cars impress me exactly ZERO.
Have you ever seen them live? The do look boring on tv, but live the noise is amazing. Kind of like nascar.
Sounds Bad a$$!
Meant. A.m.d. fenders. Spell Check sucks
Gm and mopar are better than that fomoc crap
