He is so right about everything he said. There is no easy way out for cleaning up credit. When my home buying credit coach told me I will be ready in about two years I wanted to cry but she was right. After two long stressful years of paying off debt she finally gave me the okay once my score got above 640!

Honestly, you are one of the best UA-camrs ever. Thank you for getting straight to the point in all of your videos and not bombarded the information with mundane details that has nothing to do with the title. Anywhere below 3% you’ll most likely need to pay points for which is a trade off on your breakeven point, so it depends on how long you plan on having the house

Tay Danni you can get a better deal than 3 % depending on ur credit score for Kansas City Inhave Taylor Lee NMLS 3030 he works for Quicken loan he gave me a 2.75 last week on a refinance but u might get lucky and get something lower the rates are still dropping - he is pretty good and honest I paid only $4K on closing cost for a 154k loan. Now my monthly mortgage payments with property tax and insurance is only $ 745 a month vs $1100 a month I had before on the first loan at 4% and this is why buying always wins over renting

I just never thought I'd be able to buy my own home. I'm 58 years old. I lived the majority of my life with this lie. I can't even begin to tell you how truly grateful I am for busting that lie and teaching me what to do based on facts. Much love and respect for you. God bless.

I wish I had seen this video before I had attempted to go through the house buying process this past month! We ended up walking away from the process after finding the house in the neighborhood we wanted. We might have been able to make it work BUT we didn’t want to become house poor. So we ended up taking the money we saved, paid off our two car loans and our one personal loan. Now that money that we were paying for those bills will go back into savings and we will be able to purchase what we want within 2-3 years. The only debt left is student loans! Plus side going through the process is I learned A LOT.

I started my journey a couple years ago & since then my financial situation changed drastically and I have to start over. It will take me about 2 years to be in the right financial place. It was 2 things you said that really spoke to me and made me have a new outlook:
    1. Follow my own time-line and it's ok if that time line is longer than originally anticipated.
    2. Paying rent is buying patience 😊
Also, you voice is very calming 😌

Thank you so much for this. You have NO idea how much I needed to hear the last part of what you said! I have been struggling to find my way to the life I have always wanted but have been held back from for many years, always making me feel like I missed the bus on life. In so many ways, I have, but what I'm trying to do is to put the past behind me because that life that I was living was not my own. If I went into a more detailed explanation of that, it would be a blog post or 20.
My point is that I am trying so hard to cram a lifetime of learning, building, recreating into each and every day, that at the end of the day, I feel like a complete loser because I feel like I haven't accomplished a single thing.
Your calm demeanor along with your clear and concise detailed explanations and planning guides were easy to listen to, not anxiety provoking like every other video telling me to stop doing nothing because doing nothing is the only way to fail. I may not be taking huge steps but I'm trying, In the past 4 months, I've raised my credit score by 100 pts! Currently, I am living off of UI and PUA because my furniture business has ceased, otherwise I'd be looking to buy now, My apartment is ridiculously unhealthy in every way and finding an apartment now is impossible.
I know this is a lot but, really, I just wanted to tell you that what you said at the end, it broke some kind of dam inside of me and I cried, not out of frustration or anxiety but because, finally, I felt like someone was telling me that it's ok to be where I am right now. Thank you so much and I would LOVE to work with you. I'm in between Boston Ma and Cape Cod...If not, I honestly don't have a clue how to find a broker who'd be willing to guide me through this process.

Hi Kyle. I just found you on UA-cam, embarking on starting my home buying journey. I'm doing my due diligence and know I need to boost my credit. In this video you said you could recommend a Credit Coach. I'm a resident in Greensboro North Carolina. By the way great informational videos!

Home buying is never fun in my current situation.
Renting a cheap studio working on building credit to 800 thinking you have plenty of time to save as time passes you see rent skyrocket wile you are content with your low rent.
Watching other pay the same cost in rent in a appointment as a mortgage for a home.
Yet again thankful you are in a good position knowing you could never build credit or save money paying Californians rent cost outside of your steel of a place.
Now that your credit is almost at where you want it you start saving money but you just started.
Next thing you know your landlord gives you a last minute notice he is selling a home the day before Christmas and he new owner will be by the day after Christmas.
The new investor insures you he wants to keep his tenants and is going to fix the place up nice.
You pay your first month of rent with the new owner and 3 days later they deliver a eviction notice.............
Now your panicking thinking wow I did not have enough time to save much wishing you would of split 50% to credit building and 50% to hard cash.
Now you know your going to have to purchase with a vary small down and no back up coin and are frightened of how mad this loan is going to look and your on a tight time crunch in a market with almost nothing in your price range watch homes that sold to we buy homes a year ago for 95k flip them for 375k.
Then you think to your self man credit is absolutely pointless without the hard cash capital to back it up #%&$&
    Well

That's because credit scores are a fascist scam all they do is show how well you toe the line with banks.
