@@TwiceTheKraken Well, I don't know why it occurs but it occurs often, either when the disc reader hits a scratch or when it just crashes for other reasons (I assume). I think that's one of the reasons it happened extra much with LSW3, since it's such a big game for a kind of weak console. The developers, TT games had just figured out how to have more than 200 entities on the screen at the same time, and oh boy the overused that. Some levels basically just consisted of swarms and swarms of battle droids, and while it was kinda satisfying to just gun them all down it wasn't as satisfying to have it crash on me every 10 minutes.

Everything else, however.. not so much. What I personally like about this "Anti-Piracy" trend are those projects who take an unsettling yet convincing approach. Kind of makes you think it could actually exist, instead of it just being "Ooooh, spooky stolen copy creepypasta, you're gonna die, destroy the game card" and things like that.
