The problem with this product was building it in to the desk. A licensing model is impossible because there is no IP. The only way this product could work would be as a kit that you could attach to an existing desk, but if you tried it Alibaba would eat your lunch.
No one is buying this product. The margins are awful. He has no marketing plan other than to just pluck numbers from thin air. Yeah, can't see why no one invested.
I really like the idea of this product and could envisage an office where people would control their own space, that being said nowadays a lot of companies are hot desking and so moving around. I wish Peter success and that one of the Dragons would have helped him.
I feel as though if this product was being showcased today, with the current energy shortage this upcoming winter it might have had a better chance at success.

Never would work. As a thin small lifelong office worker constantly at the mercy of co-workers turning the place into a chiller a $30 heater makes me happy and management would never buy these desks for employees. Rubbish idea with little forethought.

It would never work for home because most people would buy a heater that can also be carried in other rooms and be useful more than this desk. And it would never work for office space because there isn't a single employer in the world that would care enough about how his employees feel, to buy this gadget that would add cost on top of the actual building's consumption of energy.
