If you want to save it, then get rid of Ben Mankiewicz and the other "Woke" hosts, lose the bright multi-colored backgrounds and bring back the old black and white channel bumpers/station IDs/logo. Also, lose the stupid "Reframed" program. We know that Gone with the Wind had racism in it. We don't need Ben and the others to sit and discuss it or any other film. TCM went "Woke" and now because of it they're unfortunately gonna go broke and my old favorite movie network will soon be no more. So thanks for nothing, Mankiewicz & Crew!
Define Woke
@@mttylerdurden9 Umbrella term for individuals who are engrossed by social justice and thinks of themselves as saviors with a moral high ground, but remain willfully ignorant to the irrationality of their claims and the problems they create. These individuals give special treatment to certain minorities in hopes of ending racism and perpetuate mental illnesses as the norm. There ya go.
@@RedDawg865 here's the correct definition of Woke. Woke means to be aware of discrimination and prejudice in society. Conservatives (and bigots) have twisted it to describe anything they don't like (or threatens their values) or anything that's non white.
Zaslav is an awful CEO
The elephant in the room is Christopher Nolan's absence here, who severed his long-time relationship with Warner Bros after they shifted their business model from theatrical presentation to direct-to-streaming. David Zaslav doesn't care about preserving film.
Christopher Nolan has contributed to the destruction of cinema.
@@vodkatonyq how so?
@@StraightToBlack terrible filmmaker.
@@vodkatonyq you can think his movies suck while still appreciating his efforts to preserve older films, film as a medium, and the theatrical experience in general
And now they're back at theatrical! lol
