No, that is not what I was trying to say. I was trying to say that it's ridiculous that the Sally Yates was fired but Flynn was allowed to resign. You need to calm down or you'll just push Trump supporters even further away.
Basically Yates was fired and Flynn was given an easy out by being allowed to resign (which is NOT the same as being fired) when he should have been thrown in prison. What I wrote is grammatically correct. You just read it wrong. You should make sure you understand what is being said before spouting off and pushing away people that are on the same side.

This reminds me of a time back around 2010/2011, in the UK, when the Secretary of Defence resigned from his post, after he was found out to have brought a very close friend, who wasn't security vetted, into confidential arms talks, bringing lobbying within Parliament to a head. Everyone tried to weasel their way out of blame; the Prime Minister, who said lobbying was the next big scandal, refused to answer why he didn't scrutinise his own party enough for the same things they criticised the opposition for, everyone tried to put some distance between them and their exposed counterpart, and one minister pulled a Conway, in that they publicly made a statement in an interview that made no sense, by denying that the accused minister didn't resign because he did something wrong, rather resigned for doing something right - which makes no sense, because why would a minister resign his position if he hadn't done anything wrong?
This is pretty much the same, right down to insidious meetings.

CHRIS COLLINS - When he was County Executive in Erie Co, (Buffalo, NY) he slashed funding for the county public library system, arts and cultural segment. Major funding cuts, folks. The main library was forced to close a complete floor in the library, moving those books to closed stacks which are now inaccessible to the public without a request. Not to mention the branches that closed, or the jobs lost or making reading and books accessible to our children. This is NOT the direction we should be heading. He does not value the Arts or Art Education.
