If I had ANY doubt that Ray was an O.G., legit, book collector, him saying "my Machen collection has many gaps" removed all doubt. Only an Old School, collector to their DNA collector would say something like that.
It would require quite specialist knowledge of not only the occult but esoteric Christianity, as well as having the biographical detail. I couldn't do it myself, but hopefully somebody out there might be able to one day....
