Let me know if I can help if you decide to embark on a blue death-feigning beetle breeding project 👍🏼 As you said, they will eat dead crickets, and I recommend freshly prekilled crickets as a staple dietary item to get them breeding and keep them healthy.

I want ALL of that stuff!!!! But RN I'm broke. We're in Oklahoma helping my father in law. He's dying. So, my husband is off work. Unemployment isn't enough to buy fun stuff. Lol. But in a few weeks, I'll get some for sure, when hubs goes back to work! Can't wait!!

And I adore Rus at Aquarimax. I got my P priuinosis. And springtail clean up crew for my leopard gecko. He’s a wealth of info and due to the algorithms I was lead to Richard at TC. Went down the tarantula rabbit hole hard (now have 3, one month later- B smithi, A avicularia and a C cyaneopubescens). Through that initial T video dive I’ve since found you, Tom, David and so many other amazing teachers.
To think it all started with a few isopods from Rus :). BDFB is on my list and I found an old 20gallon long that I plan on converting into a desert beetle hole this summer. 🤘

I was so excited to see a new video from you! I can't wait to see how it goes trying to breed and raise the beetles. I would like to try that myself in the future. I take my tarantulas and insects to school to show the kids too, and they love it! Love all your new additions and everything from Shane's Spiders was SO cool! A fellow teacher! I’ll most certainly make a video if and when I attempt to raise up little beetle larvae. We’re 3 weeks into the school year and I’ve already taken a tarantula and a scorpion to school. The kids love them! 🤓👍🏼

So many adorable hides and so useful. I love your channel and even though I don’t keep Tarantulas I enjoy seeing them. I’m glad you’re feeling better. ❤️my two favorite spiders are the Velvet spider and of course I love Jumping Spiders. At my age (79) I can’t believe I’m watching spiders, I used to be so afraid of them. Wow ! I really like watching the beetles they are fun. Thank you so much for sharing.

Love those hides! Just fyi cholla isn’t ideal for BDFBs since they can get stuck in the hollow centers. I adore my desert beetle setup! They also do great with a low wattage basking spot and I often see mine hanging out and snoozing under the rocks under it.

Great to see you Alex, great video, great pick ups you got there, not got the electric blue yet myself only the Vietnam blue, velvets and jumpers are just so cute, and so intelligent. Love the beetles, they really are great and that haul from Shane was amazing 👍🏻

Shane’s Spiders makes a lot of cool stuff! I can’t decide if the pumpkin hide, shelf fungus ledge, or replacement lids for Exo Terras are my favorite. Great intro to Shane’s Spiders, Alex!
Thank you. I really like the magnetic shelf items, both fungus and rock ledges, those come in real handy for geckos and arboreal tarantulas. I like the decorative aspect of them as well.
That Velvet spider was insanely small my god 😭. Can’t wait to see updates on all the new editions and the collection.
Right now I have 54 Phidippus audax slings that are i5-i6 and 20 slings at i-3 and i-4. They do require a lot of time. But I'm having a difficult time getting rid of them! And I only want 3 bucks a piece!
My jumping spider kia is an old girl I've had her at inter 3 an have her for 3 years now ,she's she's still going strong, she can't catch her own food anymore, but all good with tong feeds

Please people don't use plastics in your terrariums.. BPA's are very bad for invertebrates... please everyone read up about it..
3D printer PLA filament is a biodegradable and compostable material derived from plant starches, and do not contain BPA or PVC. They are perfectly safe to use in your enclosures. 🤓👍🏼
