YES, the more icing you have the better. There is nothing better than icing with butter and cream cheese. On my mother's pound cake, I double the recipe for icing, and I fill up the pound cake hole with icing. I love the icing. This is a great recipe for a sugar cookie and each one is not frosted, the best of both world, a sugar cookie decorated with amazing icing, YUM!!!! I am going to have to make these.

I tried this. They taste good without frosting! I wanted to see what the basic taste is & it reminds me of Scottish shortbread only soft. I would recommend cutting them into pieces smaller than a regular bar. They're perfect. Thank you! 😊😊❤❤❤
