    Lyrics:
I am watching the rise and fall of my salvation
There's so much shit around me such a lack of compassion
I thought it would be fun and games, instead it's all the same
I want something to do, need to feel the sickness in you
I feel the reason as it's leaving me, no, not again
It's quite deceiving as I'm feeling the flesh make me bad

Many comments say that Korn made them feel well about being "crazy" or "anxious". I'd say that Korn were promoting to be yourself, including feelings.

Right, but what means the most is that they were just REALLY talented musicians. Not to mention they have a knack for songwriting and creating innovative sounds with a 7 string guitar. Even most of the bands who copied KoRn after they came out played 7 string guitars tuned down to A. I'm probably biased when it comes to KoRn because they inspired me to start playing guitar as a kid so I think my main love for KoRn is because of Brian and James, however I love Jonathan too of course!

Time to screw those who are going to get hurt when I bring out the horror he inflicted. His dead now so im now making it about me for a change.... Juan Ulloa Born in '96... but I remember hearing this stuff since before I was in kindergarten. Forever, this music has stuck with me. Linkin Park's "Crawling" and "In The End," Korn's "Make Me Bad," and "Coming Undone", most notably "Here To Stay,", System of a Down's "Chop Suey,", and "Toxicity," Mudvaynes "Happy?" and "Not Falling," a lot of late 90s and early 2000s Godsmack, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, and of course Alice in Chains, Sabotage, Queensryche, Megadeth, and Metallica. Being from the city during the '96-02 time period really shaped what I listen to as well.

I remember specifically Make Me Bad as one of the last "metal" videos as MTV was going away from playing music videos. The massive money and audience that MTV had propelled music video budgets into the millions if you watch a video like Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson's "Scream" that shit costed like 50 million dollars. Nowadays bands DO NOT have more than maybe 20 thousand to spend on a video.

Korn had Issues which was their last really thought out album... Limp came out with Significant Other then the shitty Chocolate Starfish, Offspring I don't recall the album from 01 off the top of my head; pre-01/02 was Americana which I still bump today. Slipknot just had Iowa release... Also had MuDvAyNe tearing up the metal scene, Static-X also had new shit drop among some other bands in the early 2000's.

    I am watching the rise
    And fall of my salvation
There's so much shit around me
    Such a lack of compassion
I thought it would be fun and games
(It would be fun and games)
    Instead it's all the same
    (It's all the same)
    I want something to do
Need to feel the sickness in you
    I feel the reason
    As it's leaving me
    No, not again
    It's quite deceiving
    As I'm feeling
    The flesh make me bad
All I do is look for you
And when I fix you needed to
Just to get some sort of attention
    Attention
What does it mean to you?
(What does it mean to you?)
For me, it's something I just do
    (I just do)
    I want something
I need to feel the sickness in you
    I feel the reason
    As it's leaving me
    No, not again

    Make Me Bad"
I am watching the rise and fall of my salvation.
There's so much shit around me.
    Such a lack of compassion.
I thought it would be fun and games (would be fun and games).
Instead it's all the same (it's all the same).
    I want something to do.
Need to feel the sickness in you.
I feel the reason as it's leaving me, no, not again.
It's quite decieving as I'm feeling the flesh make me bad.
All I'll do is look for you.
I know your fix, you need it to
Just to get some sort of attention, attention.
What does it mean to you?
For me it's something I just do.
    I want something.
I need to feel the sickness in you.
I feel the reason as it's leaving me, no, not again.
It's quite decieving as I'm feeling the flesh make me bad.
I feel the reason as it's leaving me, no, not again.
It's quite decieving as I'm feeling the flesh make me bad.
    Does it make me bad?

When I listened to korn during some of my rough patches in life I felt like Jon was speaking straight to my perceived insanities and saying that I wasn't alone, and it wasn't insane, it was my cries and rages asking for someone to at least be there at some points, I want us young adults to heal before we have kids cuz, I kept screaming internally "you may be scarred and hurt but don't put it on the children" and I never want to subject any of my kids to the same psychological torture I did just because I went thru it. Just because you went thru shit doesn't mean you subject the young to the same pain and misery, it's not good for growth at all, and they don't always come out stronger, sometimes they come out broken

I came across this video the other day, and I finally realized that this is the music video I had been trying to find for 13 years. All I remembered was the alien being pulled out and the end scene, but I didn't know what song it was until I watched this again. My life is now complete.

I remember when I was a kid, I've heard this track for the first time, now I'm 31 and it still gives me the same feeling. That chorus drum line combined with the slap bass is just out of this world, it's the one that gives this song something that you can't put your finger to

KoЯn were about 6 years into their career at this point and were truly the leaders of this genre we now refer to as nu metal. They helped to inspire great bands like Sevendust, Flaw, Slaves On Dope, SlipKnot, Mudvayne, 40 Below Summer, Limp Bizkit, Coal Chamber, and SO many more! Korn are immortal, you just can't f*ck with them!
