@@maggoteater2290 Which is why his meterless bullshit should be lessened. Geese is a meter bullshit character in KoF XIV, but his neutral and pressure are lackluster compared to other characters in the game, he only becomes threatening when he has meter. He's entirely focused on building meter with his OK moves and hard reads until you can get that absolutely stupid damage off.
Buut in Tekken, his lackluster meterless tools aren't lackluster at all in this game, they're decent to pretty damn good. Couple that with a billion safe counterhit launchers and you get the asshole Geese is.
With the health buffs in Season 4, I don't think Geese needs a BIG damage nerf, maybe a decent one, but he absolutely should be riskier to play when he has no meter. IMO, as a loving Geese main, his counterhit launchers need to all be unsafe by some margin. If you actually had to take big risks get decent damage meterless then Geese would be far more balanced while still being a super unique character that actually *better* represents his origin. Maybe they could even make his meterless specials scale harder so that his meterless damage is peanuts. Whatever of things they do, I hope they keep his identity.

1:21 while it does look like Geese had interrupted Lars’ Rage Art, he actually managed to have jumped high enough to crush the Rage Art, and practically the frame after the Rage Drive whiffed, Geese did the kick and it counted as a punish.

Tbh next T7 is probably gonna be like T6 but with more damage and bounce mechanics. I really doubt Harada will innovate Tekken that much, he hugely just ends up making a damage cluster (T5/TT2) is just to 2 examples.
Tekken 4 was too janky. Plus it's on the opposite end of the scale - instead of the damage being too high, it's too low.

does anyone know if the raging storm against Gigas was guaranteed or not? I'm assuming not and that he could've tech rolled but idk
I feel like there's no way it can be guaranteed. To me it looked like he was at the point in the wall splat animation where he could've tech rolled, and also the game said it wasn't guaranteed because the red health bar reset but idk. I mean i have the game and i have geese so technically speaking i could probably recreate it..
It’s not guaranteed, but it used to be guaranteed back when Geese first came to Tekken
I don't play tekken 7 but I used to play the previous titles as far as dating back to the PS2 ones. Introduction of guest characters had me excited but I was shocked to see how broken the 2d ones are on release like why would you give them a special meter?
Just because it's difficult to execute shouldn't mean that you can literally delete the entire bar of hp. The same amount of learning put into 2d and og character would lead to the 2d character being way more rewarding and easier leading to betrayal of tekken's core mechanics.

Biggest proponent of Geese nerfs, back at it again. Doing 3 bar combos on Geese stage smh. He will not stop until Geese's combo damage with 3 bars is at par with everyone else's staple damage, WHILE being completely shit in neutral and ranged punishment. Raging storm in first combo not guaranteed btw. You can in fact quick roll AFTER seeing the raging storm animation time freeze and still be safe.
