The future for amputees is bright? Apparently the person who wrote this isn't an amputee themselves nor have they ever had to figure out how to pay for one. A basic foot and hydraulic knee costs over $20K in the US. Triple that figure as soon as you add MP anything onto it. It would probably be closer to $300K-$400K for a Biom and X3 knee combo. I wish I was joking about those numbers. I'm guessing I'm estimating a bit low, to be honest.
Doesn't matter if it's first world. Sure, it's better than most places for even having the possibility of getting a device. But the devices themselves are still not all that great, in my experience. They work, they're functional. But not anything to get excited about. You only get to reclaim a portion of your former life. It's not like it gets you anywhere near back up to full speed.
@@timt1346 i broke the lisfrank joint in my foot as well as a few of the other mettarsels in my foot and i have chronic pain every day, the pain has been declining steadily for a good few years though and i can walk without limping or bowling now, but if there was something that could replace my deformed lisfrank joint that would be brilliant

那裡買?
can they not just make bionic joints to replace arthritic joints, make it with a usb charger in it to
Short answer is yes and no. They have versions of them, but they only mimic at best, not replace.
