They literally jack the block up onto a motorcycle, drive off, and when they get to where they are going, they dump it off the back onto a pile of tires. Because you wouldn’t want it to smash *directly* onto the ground. I absolutely love these videos. Cannot stop watching them.
It will be nice to show us the end result with the engine in and the truck pulling away from the repair shop. That will be great to see. These guys are amazing!!
That's how we used to do it in our shop when I was a kid. In the dirt, with hand tools. No fancy tools in our shop. Just the bare minimum specialty engine or transmission tools that we couldn't make ourselves. A couple places of concrete for clean parts and assembly. Don't know it you know this about bearings and gears, but they don't like dirt. They hate it. Lol. I'm more at home in an old dirt floor shop than in a brand new one full of technology. The men in this video DO NOT rely on fancy tools or equipment. Just their proven skills. I love that shit and always have a good time doing it. Gonna find another to watch.

Very hard working men working in difficult circumstances. Like many here I wonder about torque settings and assembly lube. They do know what they are doing but are hampered by the lack of tools. My honest question would be do these reconditioned engines last a reasonable time bearing in mind the above...
Trust me; I am a Pakistan, now I have been living in USA and Canada for 30 years. But if they rebuilt an engine it would work better and longer than the original one.

Все правильно они гильзовку делают. Оправка там походу не стальная и заходят в блок гильзы с одинаковым усилием. Если прессом давить ,это опаснее может треснуть незаметно. Можно деревом там бруском и кувалдочкой еще. Все мотористы так делают.а там в крутых сто может и азотом охлаждают гильзы .

Expertise? HARDLY. Not the people you want to build your engine. Amateurs at best. Dirty fluids just drained on the ground. Filthy environment for building an engine. No specs including torque specs are being used. So many things to pick apart here but the list would be pages long. Truly hard to watch people build an engine that is going to go in a large truck and drove around the town. I bet those rebuilds don’t last long and they are truly dangerous. Damn scary to see this but hey, that’s what they do in third world countries I guess.
@@tonyhammer3588 If Ferrari does manual assembly it is legendary. Ferrari even makes their pistons with old manual moulds. Engine assembly has its own creativity. If Ferrari feels hand made engines are better, one should respect that. Here, they are cleaning, doing some patches. This assembly is better than manufacturing assembly. These guys know what they are doing. As long as engine is tuned to produce torque(It's a truck engine) it is designed for, it is ok whether manual or machine assembly. Go and tell Ferrari your advices and comments. They will not give a shit about your comments. Learn to respect skills.

@@TheSergWolf Уважаемый у них принцип другой совсем . Грузовой авто если после такого ремонта походит хотя бы полгода и это будет супер для владельца. За эти полгода он не то что ремонт отобьет многократно и еще и другой движок контрактный заработает. Движение это деньги . Так что этот авто стоять не будет ,на пинках бегать будет. Ремонт конечно на коленках ,но все равно в допуски и посадки более менее укладываються. А так я понял это Пакистан . Но все равно уважение к таким людям трудягам.
Смотрю как он руками без перчей химикатами запчасти моет и как-то не по себе такое, но вспоминаю как в детстве вельчик разбирал и подшипники так само в солярке мыл, да и не только вельчик
Фрезеровка поверхностей у них конечно на высоте, у нас станком сотые десятые доли миллиметра снимают, у них на глаз точильным камнем :-)

They will keep on reconditioning until they cannot anymore. Vehicles don't end up in junk yard in a hurry like in Western countries.

ピストンリングからの圧縮漏れ?が故障の原因だったのかな?
エンジンのO/Hするには正直良い環境とは言えないけど、各パーツの洗浄、ヘッドの面研、バルブのすり合わせやエンジン組み付けにはちゃんと技術を感じました!
もし自分も同じ事してくださいと言われても厳しいって言っちゃいます!

Для военнополевой мастерской не плохо за ночь на ход поставить и в бой 500км проехать. А для качественного долговечного ремонта эта ботва не тянет.

Смотрю как он руками без перчей химикатами запчасти моет и как-то не по себе такое, но вспоминаю как в детстве вельчик разбирал и подшипники так само в солярке мыл, да и не только вельчик

Они АКБ без СИЗ разбирают/собирают, что уж говорить о какой-то мойке деталей. Я сам соляркой мою так
