@@jenniferll4526 Yea I'd probably not add the 200g sugar since it's not recommended to reduce the sugar used to beat the egg white (100g). A lot of his sponge cake/chiffon cake recipes have a scary amount of sugar, which is kind of a bummer... Most sponge/chiffon cake will be decently sweet with about 100-150g of sugar in my opinion

Who else is still following the recipe? I did one yesterday on my 10 inch (25cm) mold, after the last attempt so many years ago. Turn out the cake raises well. Just need to get the right timing to bake so it is drier. (FYI I use a convection oven and need to moderate the sugar again to make it less sweet) Will continue to follow other his chiffon recipe.

Hi Micheal, I just made this choc chiffon cake this afternoon. It was well risen n texture n taste is awesome! Except that the sides all round is abit wet, not like yours, nicely browned. In fact my Pandan chiffon also turned out like that. Pls advise. Thanks!

Hallo i have a question. I have a small oven and my cakes are burning on top can i use a lower temperature 160 degrees Celsius or put foil on top. 👍🏽

Simply gorgeous cake. Any tips on how to wash the cake pan afterwards? I find the cake crumbs are quite stubborn to wash off.

It is all depends on your folding skills. If there are lots of big air bubbles in the batter, it is best to tap the pan to remove the air bubbles.
