@@cate01a I think it's because this is a "trainer" and is supposed to be used to help new players learn the game in multiplayer with the help of a friend. So would be kinda useless if they had to buy it as well. Maybe it'll only allow access to the instructor seat if you buy it or something.
It's T-50 golden eagle, a korean training jet, and Lockheed Martin was envolved for development. Very similar to F-16 (almost feels like mini F-16), so very helpful for training F-16 pilots. It's base performance is so good (even can go supersonic) that some contries utilize it as actual fighter jet, including korea themselves. Fighter jet variation is called FA-50

That's a dope aircraft. Also according to the description this can carry all types of weapons and sensors, so it should be a nice flexible option for actual combat. I do wonder whether the multi-seat capability will offer any advantage in combat though. Also love that the flight characteristics are trimmed to encourage energy management, it's something I've struggled with in the past.

In the trailer you can see the back seater with radar and tgp up, the front seater pilot can deal with air to air and sam evasion while the back seat handles A2G weapons, also its been confirmed that radar lock passthrough is a thing so the back seater can select targets on radar for the pilot to shoot AMRAAMs at.

I enlisted in the USAF about 6 months ago and gave my pc to my brother when I left. This is easily one of my favorite games of all time and it will probably be the first game I download once I get a new VR setup at my current station. Thanks for this masterpiece BD :)

I play mostly DCS, but purchasing all VtolVR DLCs. Simply to support great job of this developer. There are not much of them left, oriented for flight sims. Thank you! :-)
Haven’t had a chance to take this multiplayer yet, but I am absolutely loving this in single player. Such a nice change of pace and much more challenging to fly than the f45 or f26, I have actually had to trade altitude for airspeed on more than one occasion, instead of just having it on tap with the other aircrafts. Makes for a totally different experience, and makes you rethink how to approach most situations.
Here’s a weird(kinda) trend I’ve seen. All the new trainer aircraft have converged on the high alpha single engine layout with two intakes. Seriously from Korea to Russia to the US. All of them are visually indistinguishable. Boeing and Saab made the T-7, Yakolev made the Yak-130, Korea made the Kai T-50, and Aermacchi made the M-346. All of them are literally the same. I guess convergent evolution is real, even when separated by languages and thousands of miles of bureaucracy
The best VR game on the market. Learning the AH-94 with a pal was an amazing experience and I'm sure this will be as well. Hard for me to climb out of the F45 cockpit but this outta do it.
Keep it up man, its propably the one game I play the most right now. The one thing I will always hope for is an upgrade engine for the FA26 that brings it up to F15 performance, reaching Mach 2.5 at altitude ;D
