This is the second taijutsu form of the Koto Ryu Koppojutsu. The exercise is to train a counter punch from a returning body coming out of a failed hip throw. The important point here is the use of your thumb into the shichibatsu.
Manaka Sensei made two critical points I noted:
1. "they should not try to throw you until you provided an opening. Respond by stepping straight back powerfully" (PT 05)
2. “Tahp, tahp!” Drive them straight down, not outward. (PT 07) Referencing the rythm of the form, kakehiki is here.
The formal kata can of course be distilled down into a simple, fast reverse punch to the butsumetsu. The kyusho here is taught word of mouth and certainly not for social media.
