Yokuto 抒投, first form of the Koto Ryu Koppojutsu, Shoden Gata

This technique is the first kata of the Koto Ryu Koppojutsu Shoden Gata. On the surface, it seems like a complex and somewhat bizarre movement in my opinion. However, the truth of the form comes alive and reveals an extremely efficient and fast technique quite rooted in to-the-point self defense.
In this video, I also detail the ura gata, as taught by Unsui Sensei. This was for demonstration, and absolute caution should be exercised if you wish to study this under the direct supervision of a teacher.

Wow! I'm going to have to put in a bit of practice for that with my training partner. Lots of little nuances that I see will need to be grasped for the technique to fully mastered. Terrific technique though. Thank you Sensei.
