This actually makes the song even cooler. Tom Araya is a VERY underrated lyricist. Basically what he's saying is that he thinks that most the extremist types who thinks bands like Slayer are spreading the quote/unquote "Word of the Devil" (When in fact the only ones really are are most black metal bands that are in fact founded by Odinists). While they are treated by anger vents by most fans, they see their music as "Too Violent" when in fact war and atrocity are everywhere in the media. Especially in the US (Being Canadian I still see it everywhere for some odd reason). This is basically Slayer's way of saying "Fuck you" to the masses of people who whether they consider themselves politically correct or incorrect. The fact of the matter remains, Slayer really doesn't give a fuck about them and just wants their style to be seen in a positive light by their fans.

I normally don’t comment my personal life on here but man does time fly with this one. i remember being at my grandparents old house when this video dropped. i was new to slayer at that time and they really took off with me. i was hyped as fuck when this dropped and i wanted to play it loud but since my grandparents are strict christian(nothing wrong with that); i knew i couldn’t. 8 years have gone by now and i can say a LOT has changed. watching the ‘Offical Visualizer video’ brings me back to a more simple time. thank you for your time.
Saw them live in NY and it was the best show of my life. Lamb of God came out performing 'Cowboys From Hell'. Took a tooth out of my elbow, got a black eye, busted nose and a broken thumb along with my body was covered in 'tiger steips' from all the shoving. 10/10

Most of the time they play their own instruments, and if you go to one of their own concerts its not piss in a bucket, they're actually playing. In addition, they can work with much more complex rhythms than a rapper can, a rapper would melt in this rhythm, never to be seen again.

Had high hopes for this album as Im sure Cliff Burton did for the follow up to Master Of Puppets. Guess it doesnt always work out as it should. Listen to South of Heaven or Reign in Blood to hear SLAYER doin what they do. RIP JEFF.

@@eduardpopa9224 hater gonna hate,this album is NOT mid at all,if you actually listened to it, it's just because Dave was fired,and replaced by Paul Bostaph,and Jeff Hanneman passed away,Gary Holt is an excellent guitarist, I loved the album,for me the 2000s SLAYER were as good as 80s Slayer,raw brutality and power!
