Just want to say thanks again for being such a vessel for incredible music. Your video on The Residents popped up for me and now I own 3 of their records ❤
Thanks, Dereck! 'Music from the Dead Zone' was put together by Dave Henderson, a UK music writer and editor who published a monthly mag called Underground in the mid-1980s. I wrote for what was to be the final edition! He was also known as the curator of industrial/electronic music compilation 'The Elephant Table', in the early '80s. A great document of the time.
Hello Dereck👋🏻that 3 record set looks absolutely awesome, I remember sampling Hunting Lodge a few years back…man it’s just wrong about the sidewalks, just 😑 wrong….cheers and whew ya the heat had been off the charts much much nicer today, getting ready to head out wanted to say hello 👋🏻☕️….have a great rest of your day 🎶🙏🏻✨✊🏻☮️🎶

Hey Dereck, Had to rewind and make sure I heard right about your mayor living in St. Louis. Sounds a bit like landlords who have neglected their properties that they own and rent out in the city while they live high on the hog in the suburbs. Take care Dereck
That packaging on that Hunting Lodge is marvelous

I've been a Hunting Lodge fan for 20+ years...that's a fantastic record as well as an artifact.
Richard Skott Rusch from Hunting Lodge has a solo project called Witches of Malibu which is well worth a listen.
Cheers Dereck! Thank you for everything...
Cheers Dereck, always a pleasure to see you. Cheers!
Wow, COC and Scream. Goodtimes.
Yeah screw the world. I'm going to listen to some 5th dimension.
just received a copy of Sanskrit Tahiti by Tek=San as a result of your comments...I really enjoyed the journey this album took me on...cheers

How does the mayor of Omaha live in St. Louis? That's absolutely wild
REST IN PEACE REED MULLIN
I have that Music From The Dead Zone compilation! I am embarrassed to admit I had forgotten Digital Sex were on it.
Dave Henderson who compiled that was a hero of that era. He turned me onto so much great music (he also wrote for Sounds music paper).
Fair enough indeed. But it wasn’t a critique (or assumption) of YOU, it was a critique of a thing you mentioned.
