I often perform Johns tune and always make sure they know who the artist is. And here we are again. Tough times! Like they was in 32.

Every reason to be proud Sarra - Mr John Brim was greatly admired by my Dad who was a blues harmonica player.
They say you can't sing the blues on a full stomach. This man is the real deal. One of the best blues songs ever. The last verse is a classic.

I've always thought that Jimmy Reed backed John Brim on Tough Times but I have heard that some think it's Snooky Pryor. Sounds like Jimmy to me.
