My 96 year old uncle still has this record on a 45. He used to play it on Friday nights when the family came over to eat and party in the 60's. It's how we celebrated the end of a hard work week. I'm now 71, and I still love Lowell Fulsom music and the blues overall. We played them all. Glad to be a part of history. Family....Music....Fun. It was all so simple then. I miss it.
Brings back precious memories of the ‘old’ folks💕 - now that I’m officially ‘old’ generation - my kids and grandkids are big fans of the 60’s music 🙋🏾♀️
Lowell Fulson was also a great bandleader, specifically for his recordings on the Los Angeles-based Swing Time Records label, and the Chicago-based Chess/Checker Records labels.
Oh, yeah----one of he best pure blues artists ever. Many in the general public don't know who Fulsom is, but most blues musicians love him. BB called him one of his top influences--even though BB's style is very different.

great R&B song and music to dance to, outstanding record !
I also love Lowell's "Reconsider Baby". An additional favorite is Butterfield's cover of "Too Many Drivers". Fantastic harmonica in that tune!
Real name = Lowell Fulson. His 60s Kent sides were recorded under the name "Fulsom".

So good to hear good music Was my favorite singer in the the 20 century & sound even better in the 21's century

One of the great Blues practitioners. Writer, guitar, vocalist-Unsung prolific hero!!!

The lyrics of this song are fantastic and not your same ol" blues style. Lowell was a very good songwriter & singer. He's a lost treasure found again.

I prefer lowell's music instead of BB's, more danceable !
