Amazing video as usual. Both those grills seem to offer a lot for the price. So I think I saw that you can buy the Coyote S Infrared burner as a drop in, do you know if you can drop it into the Coyote C? If so that'd be a killer compromise to get a C and just buy a one off sear burner and get a ridiculous value (not that they aren't already hitting above their weight).

    • @embersliving

yeah you can do a drop in if you want

@@embersliving is it also possible to do a sear burner in the C-28? It seems like the burner in the C-28 is different from the burners in the other C series and S series. (C1SL0001)

I just bought the C-series and cant wait to get my hands on it! I only grill Steaks, dogs, burgers, chicken breast, and vegetables, so all the extra add-ons are wasted by me.

Good honest review! Seems that the sear burner would be a real pain to try and clean and would build up grease that would be impossible to clean. Your thoughts please. Thanks

Two burners on the c series, really hurts you if you want to do zone cooking. You would figure with a traditional 4 or even 3 burner you could turn off a burner between hot and warm side to prevent cross heating.

Recently discovered your videos and really enjoy learning from them!! On the Coyote S-Series, I understand the sear burner comes standard but is it possible to remove it on demand and swap it out with a standard Infinity burner? I love having a searing burner, but just don't need it every time I"m grilling - especially not when cooking for a large crowd, and so having more regular grilling space at that time would be nice.

Outstanding quality comparison of 2 grills I’m considering. Great work. Can you please help answer a question for me; I see the side trays fold flat but can they be removed completely? Can they be unscrewed and removed from the cart? I am attempting to mimic the Weber summit S-660 built in look where it can slide flush in between 2 modular pieces I have.

Thanks for the great video, all your videos are very helpful -- THANKS!! I'm struggling to decide between ceramic and steel flame tamers.. If i go ceramic & I flip and burn EVERY time, do you think i will have flare up issues (i hate pulling and cleaning, but wouldn't mind flipping & burning). I've read that Coyote S doesn't drain grease too well and may also have trouble getting to lower heat at all (any issue there? e.g. can i get direct heat down to ~300 at least?). Whichever I pick, I plan to get a larger one e.g 36-42" and one searing burner. I'm a bit timid in general w/ the Coyote brand due to some really terrible reviews out there on their CCX2 "grill in a box".. My candidates are Blaze LTE, Coyote S, Lynx Sedona, Delta Heat or I might even splurge for Hestan Aspire or Blaze PRO. What is your take on pro/con between those grills , which would ones would you pick -- thank you!!!! smashing LIKE now!

Quick question...I have a portable Coyote Propane Grill (highly recommend doing a video on it, it's great) and it comes with grates similar to the add on ones shown in this video. I still would have problems buying a grill with out a cast aluminum firebox. Stainless just cant hold up long term and will rust with the acids from grilling. They sure look pretty in the store but even 30 year old Sunbeam, Weber, and PK-360s grills with cast aluminum are still going.

That is on purpose. People who watch this video 6 months from now will have different pricing. The pricing currently in January will not reflect the price this winter.
