In the HW division, whoever sets pace and lands big first, usually duppies. AJ definitely underestimated DD and abandoned basic defense to try bad him up. If he stays disciplined, he can get the belts back still.
If he fights and KO's Miller, Wilder, Fury, Zhang and Parker. He'll be back in position for a title shot. You can probably take out Miller and he's still back up there. Bakole would probably be an easy style for him to KO as well.
Spot on! ….it hurt Aj’s ego that dubios didn’t fear him an came to scrap…. As soon as as AJ was dropped his game plan went out of the window and went into “mandem mode”😂 ….. it became an ego thing for AJ ……..AJ needs another Ruiz 2 type of performance to beat Dubois I think
What I’ve learned from this fight and the Haney vs Ryan fight is to never trust the majority’s verdict for a fight and always do your own analysis before making your prediction.
My ting is why is it when aj loses it’s “yea aj is still the biggest star” , “aj has done so much in the boxing game in just 11 years” and for other fighters like Haney and dem man when they get mashed we tell it how it is, we gotta start calling a spade a spade. Aj’s left hand shouldn’t have been down and that was amateur and that’s it, bun what he’s before man 😭💀 fyi I’m not directly coming at no one I’m just stating something i observed in the boxing space.
i agree he shouldn't retire, but i feel too many times over the last 5 or so years he has 'lost his head' and not stuck to the game plan. In my opinion thats built into him and will never change, so he will from now always be a contender but never a champion
Did use ever think that it could be that AJs last two fights were made to make him look good. 1 of them is a wrestler and wallin was a sparring partner for years. Daniel had 2 solid fights where he had to go in deep and it showed on Saturday
I’m a boxing fan first and AJ fan second and the truth is AJ kept his left hand in his pocket and nearly had his jaw stolen! To anyone wondering what I’m talking about watch the fight back or watch when Leon coaches Gib, deji, JMX or JJ he told them if them hands drop your holding a bang! He got onto GIB at one point and I mean really got onto him for it! Remember boxing is a science hit and don’t get hit!
I think AJ should fight Fury then retire because of the battering he took, it’s too dangerous for him to continue imo and I’m saying that as an AJ fan who wants to seem him healthy enough to enjoy his fortunes.
Retiring is an option unfortunately because what more can he do? He reached his ceiling in terms of skills years ago. If he loses his next fight against whoever that will be, retirement is the only option..
Icl Joshua vs whyte got me into boxing properly so I’m pretty new to it still but I think people are saying he should retire because of how one sided it was rather than the fact that he lost and they don’t understand it was just mistakes rather than this being his level now
AJ could definitely weather the initial storm with Dubios in the rematch and start to pick him apart in the later rounds, AJ let the Wallin and Ngannou fights get to his head and decided to think he is Superman. People telling him to retire are dumb as hell literally the first time in his career he got KOd. He can bounce back but he'd need a near perfect run after to become 3rd time WC. It was a very entertaining fight regardless of the outcome
The way AJ fought Andy Ruiz in the second fight, is how he should have approached this one.... treat DDD with FULL Respect, borderline fearful of being hit, establish range and find a way to make the jab effective...easier said than done, but fire-fighting with DDD will fail... it's just a freak circumstances that we've seen DDD against the two MOST tankish boxers in existence: Joe Joyce and Big Baby. They are unlike anybody else, and their resilience to DDD is not to be expected or replicated, at all.
I was the only one that predicted what was going to happen lol. Dubois is top 2 punchers AJ has faced the other being vlad. He couldn’t hack shots off of Ruiz then add on the fact that Dubois is way more aggressive and he’s better than AJ in almost everything. He’s got a better jab, he hits harder, he’s faster, has faster feet. To me it was no brainer that Dubois was going to steam roll AJ. I will say though AJ earned my respect after all those previous cowardly performances. He went out like a warrior.
DDD got on AJ immediately roughed him up and got him outta there. AJ shouldn’t have tried to brawl with him, you can tell he was embarrassed and wanted to prove a point he paid for it.
AJ V Wilder, then either Parker or Zhang, then back for Dubois is a solid roadmap I think. He can still fight Fury, don't think he gets the 3rd Usyk fight tho
the difference between George Foreman and AJ is George Foreman has always been a durable boxer even at his old age he took Holyfield’s biggest punches and stood up to all of it, AJ has been dropped numerous times and with age he’ll be more fragile
I feel AJ has nothing left to prove. He’s got a good head on he’s shoulders and I would rather see him leave boxing in one piece before the boxing leaves him. Hopefully we see Wilder & Fury for the legacy and I reckon we call it a day
I knew Dubois could win, AJ beat Otto and Ngannou lol.. Didn't prove much really. Dubois fought better opponents in comparison. He's got a good chin an hit's real hard. I didn't think he'd fold AJ like that though.
I think I underestimated Dubois ! AJ hasn’t been that good! But Dubois reminded me about Mike Tyson . Why aj choose to fight like it was his first fight- I don’t know
Biggest problem is AJs decision making. Didn't box smart at all. Easy to say from outside the ring but its reality. Ajs your guy so you can't critique too tough. I know offline you lot know full list of things he should and shouldn't have done
Dubois was favourite, it was obvious he was going to be too much for AJ. Power of the mind people, that's all Dubois was missing. Usyk will more than likely beat Fury, Fury just doesn't seem right anymore, mentally and physically on the slide. Dubois will beat Usyk when they inevitably meet again.
I hust think where aj went wrong he never threw enough punches. There were moments where 10 seconds would pass and daniel threw shots and aj yet had to throw one. Daniel ran threw him and aj let him do that honestly thats how it looked like
@@fryhyh that too but dont you think that if aj gave daniel shots to think about and be worried about he wouldve stepped off the gas a little. Yes his fundamentals were garbage compared to what we seen of him before i dont know what he was doing but he just didnt throw punches when he should’ve.
Now y'all switching up ??? Crazy these boxing fans these days are crazyyy weren't y'all saying Joshua beats fury couple months ago the switch up is crazy
Nahh I love u man uno🤣🤣😭 how you gonna say AJ went into "mandem mode" im actually weak!😭

He can’t let’s be honest
na he needs to retire respectfully
when are you getting in the ring bro
If he fights and KO's Miller, Wilder, Fury, Zhang and Parker. He'll be back in position for a title shot. You can probably take out Miller and he's still back up there. Bakole would probably be an easy style for him to KO as well.

More ego than J-Mac & Jason Luv combined!!!
Dubois landing 4 knockdowns in 5 rounds (assuming the all counted) is wild.
so happy when they upload
THE BEST PODCAST!
Yo viddal me and my dad are waiting for your next fight, how's your rib? Boxing isn't the same without you bro 😂
I listened to everything the last two days, first time seeing this channel.
Too funny. Well said
Someone said Dubious is basically Iron Mike but 6ft5 which i agree with because that aggressivess was agressing!!
No where near the same level broski
6’4 bro
It was crazy watching the fight live icl. Seeing AJ fold like that was insane 😭
I was waiting for this video
I also wanted AJ to win, so it was upsetting to see his performance. But I will say he’s far from finished like all the media outlets are claiming.
Why did he leave James and this fight why was his hands so low for large amounts of the fight
Anyone else distracted by the skew UA-cam plaque on the wall at the back
I wasn't until I read this!!!
Favourite podcast in the scene for me🤝🔥

AJ was concussed from Round 1 till the KO in my opinion
Big Dubois Man Incredible!!!
No point in the rematch unless Aj builds himself back up. I rather see Aj vs Wilder and Dubois vs Parker
need a viddal fight soon
When is he gonna fight next?
I think he is recovering from an injury
Crazy how viddal and daniel are the same age. We need to see viddal go for the marbles

I predicted Dubois to KO AJ, I have been a fan since 2017 he doesn't talk alot but he does the talking inside the ring.
Spittin for 20 min
I think it is a setup for a trilogy...
I know it’s off topic but ever since JJ stopped working with these two he lost his head.
