Crazy to me people were saying Joshua is better technically all around than Dubois... Where? Lmao. Dubois is faster, throws more, more punches; more combos, he has more weapons, more angles, better movement, even better defence - the one thing everyone rightly was worried about re: Dubois; Joshua is even worse! You just haven't noticed it as much because he hasn't been in there with top boxers who can expose it.
Usyk boxed him up yeah but Usyk is largely cautious and happy to win on points. But as soon as a big skilled puncher who can hit his target fought him... look what happens.
And my bank balance thanks me for the Dubois pick. Based on pure obvious analysis, plus he has a MUCH better chin. Joshua does the chicken dance.

Throughout his career he’s never shown consistency. He will win a few then lose. It’s never been any different. Johnny Nelson spoke about it in a recent interview.

The issue and has always been that AJ hasn’t done the rounds, the rough rounds before he came into boxing. Other fighters have. He was promoted from the Olympics as the pin up and Hearne used him fully for his promotional reasons yet what he should have done as a trainer was pushed AJ into some tougher and rougher fights.
None of these guys chisora Fearron Bellew Haye Oliver are pundits they are biased and what they know about boxing you could write it on the back of a stamp buying into 4 circus fights and claiming AJ is back to his best 🤦🏻♂️ his best was barely scraping past a semi retired klitschko 7/8 years ago it amazes me how many sheep 🐑 jump on it too all the better for people who are hardcore fans and are after a decent price at the bookies 💵 cha ching 💴💴💴

I have only watched AJ fight on live a few times over the years. He doesn't seem to be able to take shots to either side of the head. That's a huge problem when 200 lb + men are hitting you there. Retire and make some action movies and leave with most of your marbles.

Sorry why on earth should AJ just keep getting handed these shots and Fu** other fighters that are waiting their chance of the big time ,But these money grabbing egotistic guys keep getting it time after time after time !!! NO you should drop down the rankings like anyone else has to and FIGHT your way back into position to prove you are indeed worthy of another shot instead of money grabbing everything . This whole division has stagnated by 4/5 fighters who have monopolised their position and it stinks to high heaven. Try giving DD the credit he deserves for wiping the floor with AJ and move on,.
It was total disrespect by AJ. Even after 4 one sided rounds of being smashed and bashed up, put on the canvas 4 times(arguably 5 imho) he STILL had no respect for Daniel, saying "He's shhht" before the start of the 5th and final round.
So matter how much AJ trained or anything else he did in preparation for the fight, his biggest downfall was clearly having very little respect for Daniel but plenty of people didn't and I thought AJ would stop him early too based on the shocking amount of punishment Daniel was taking in his previous two fights.
All credit to Daniel and his team. He was like a young Mike Tyson. Incredible performance.
I'm one of the few who backed DDD. I figured he had the better jab and chin which proved correct. He fought the better most recent opponents and v Usyk had the ref allowed the punch to count (everyone can agree it was borderline) then DDD would have been the 1/5 fav instead of the overpriced 7/2. AJ doesn't deserve a rematch and if he did I can't see any different result IMO

They say his entrance wasn't right because he just walked to the ring with no emotion etc but he did the exact same in his last two fights 😆. These yes men can't accept that Joshua is just overrated and wasn't good enough
AJ looked like an novice fighter against Dubois. AJ was not the same fighter and made some rookie errors. This is what happens when the heart is still there, but your legs are not. It is called getting old. Time for AJ to retire gracefully and go into a coaching role and help the youngsters out. He has nothing more to prove and has enough money to last several lifetimes.
Dress it up how you like aj didn't think dubois was anywhere near his level and showed him little respect apart from a bit of lip service thats customary from a pro fighter. The way he dismissed dubois in interviews mocking him to the way he came out from round 1 hands low chin in the air he f*cked around and found out😂 then it was roll the dice time..... Underestimating and arrogance got him there nothing more but the damage is done now i don't believe he beats dubois in a remach (barring a dig from the gods) hes just made him the finished article.
He came in first because the contract was signed prior to Daniel being made full champion - so the contract couldn’t be changed
Also many have said AJ looked off for me that started when he arrived an hour late so was only in his changing room for about an hour that’s not long enough

You can’t beat a non elite boxer like Ngannou and then think you can beat every heavyweight around. AJ was fine, he didn’t freeze, he was himself and he got whooped. That’s all.
