I re-dumped my copy of mkwii but I dont have driver.szs? I had a character pack a while ago and wanted to restore it, but now I feel like I am missing a lot of what I had before?
Renaming stuff makes the game messed up. It gets rid of track names, the title screen is messed up, the cups are named wrong, and online is broken. Using it on ctgp btw.
I see, I don't think this is a solvable issue unfortunately. CTGP edits the same name files, so there's no way to change them without corrupting the names. You can add the custom tracks, custom music and custom characters to ctgp, but everything else will cause some problems. Your own mystuff custom tracks won't be compatible with online worldwides anyways. In theory, you should be able to make a "pulsar" distribution, which is another method, and launch with riivolution. This also gives more tracks. There's a video on youtube somewhere for this, though it's not super in-depth.
You cannot keep both, but you should be able to take the files that are custom to one character and export it. Using brawlbox/brawlcrate, you should be able to export the files from one customer character, and then open the driver.szs of the other character and replace the original textures/models with the new ones. Please note I have not tested this myself to see if it works for models, but it shouldn't have any issues.

@@-Comet. I know there’s custom award.szs and menusingle.szs that work with ctgp. Kinda sucks nobody managed to make custom language ones.
